Did Fox just refer to Prince Charles as "Tony Blair" not once but twice?

Posted on 11/18/2003 12:36:07 PM PST by jmcclain19

I was watching coverage of Air Force One touching down and President Bush's arrival in London on Fox at work in the lunch room, where Prince Charles was there to greet him.

I heard the Fox news anchor, who's name now evades me, call Prince Charles "Tony Blair" when referring to "those two leaders walking down the tarmac" not once but twice.

At least Laurie Dhue got it right both times.

Perhaps the leading cable network should have a world leader instruction class for some of its anchors.

it could be worse, they could put Greta on 24/7 and we'd be treated to ALL LACI PETERSON, ALL THE TIME:

Yep, Greta's show is the now Laci Peterson Hour. Pure tabloid nonsense. But Hannity & Colmes isn't that far behind. Those idiots average 40 minutes of Laci in their hour-long show.

FOX news is low rent tabloid tv.

Greta, Hannity & Colmes, and O'Reilly are tabloidish, for sure. But Brit Hume, John Gibson, and Neil Cavuto are the real deal.

It is at the point where all that is worth watching on FNC is Brit Hume and Mr Arrogance, aka Bill OReilly.

The firs ttime he said it I thought Tony Blair was there with the Prince and President Bush, and I just did not see him, but by the 2nd time I knew Shep erred, focusing on Shep I thought something wrong with him, almost like he had too much to drink....Something wrong today.

It could be worse, they could put Greta on 24/7 and we'd be treated to ALL LACI PETERSON, ALL THE TIME: Watch in amazement as GRETA retraces the steps that LACI used to take when walking her dog! Watch in amazement as we show you the backyard of the house where LACI and SCOTT had cookouts!

*Ugh* No more Greta in this household! And now the Peterson trial is taking over Hannity & Colmes and O'Reilly. What is UP with Fox News lately? They're dumbing themselves down to network levels.

Watch "Scarborough Country" at 10pm on MSNBC instead of Greta. Joe Scarborough packs a lot of substance into a one-hour show.

Unfortunately, Comcast (my cable provider here in GA) doesn't provide MSNBC on the basic cable package and I refuse to pay for an extended service just for Joe (but I have seen his show and love it).

MSNBC and FNC used to have live streams but they stopped about a year and a half ago. Jerks.

**Shep does better when it is scripted.**

I have wondered about the sobriety of this person at times. Absent a lot. Just watch.

Something is very wrong with Shep physically.**
