You bet I will. Every night. I've done the unemployment thing and I can empathize.

I pray that you get a financial miracle and you and your family are blessed this Christmas season.

Stay strong and keep the faith. It's amazing how He brings us out of these things. He always does.

Your family is in my prayers. I have been through the same a few times in life's ups and downs. It's given me a greater appreciation for good years, but at the time you are going through it you don't think there will be better years, but take heart, there will be.

I can suggest a few things that we have done, such as.
You might consider exchanging letters with each other for a gift. Listing the things you love and appreciate about each other. Things that the other has done that made you laugh, or feel loved and appreciated, and how you wouldn't want to go through life with anyone else by your side.

Watch home movies or go through the photo album. Play board games with the kids or touch football in the yard. A person can be without money and still be rich in spirit. It's part of that famous American spirit that we dust ourselves off and begin again.

Oh yes, I'll be praying and there is nothing wrong with asking prayers for yourself.

I've also had some hard times in my life, as has most everyone, and though it doesn't seem to be, in hindsight, those times are very often a blessing in disguise.

Christmas can be fun without presents if there is love present. My favorite Christmas present from my husband is a card, a perfect card, with all the right sentiments and I have it framed, We didn't have any money and were all stessed out but we did have each other and we had God:-}

I'll pray that you find a good job that you love and that God will provide what you need when you need it. I'll pray that you and your family will receive the blessings of Christ's love among his creation and that you will find happiness and contentment in spite of the stress that you feel. I don't know if you have anything like this in Colorado, but let me explain. We have a network for people in your fix called Interfaith Hospitality Network. People who are in services come in and help families who are having troubles.

I would suggest that you contact St. Vincent dePaul in your area for a food basket and then contact your local church. I know our church has a Caritas fund to help someone in your predicament.

Good points Salvation - T, also check with your local Fire Company - many do collections for families in need each Christmas - Have you contacted the utility to let them know you are unemployed? They might have a program to allow you some leeway in paying the bill.

Oh I just pray that you will have everything straightened out and an abundance of financial and spiritual blessings. Normally people don't pray for money, but if Jesus can pay the temple tax with a coin from a fish, I pray that you will be supplied with enough money to pay your bills and give your kids a few nice Christmas presents.

I know people and kids understand, but it is such a bad feeling not to have enough to buy Christmas presents. The Wise Men were able to give nice gifts.

We are asking for your intercession surrounding Trussel's job and financial situation. Dear Father God, you have made everything and you HAVE a LOT of money! We call forth increments of supply from your treasure house in heaven on behalf of trussell and his family. Meet their immediate needs! We call forth the healing of the cause and core behind this stressful situation. If it is not a situation which needs "healing" per se, then we ask that you will open that door....or if not a door, then at least a window. Grant this family peace and security and abundant Faith that all is and shall be well.

Father, guide this man and his family into the perfect job and situation. Let it be all according to thy Will and perfect timing. Let this stressful change be something this family looks back on with gratitude. Let this be a time which they can see later, was a time when you were preparing them for much better things. We trust that while it can be scary living by faith we know that you can and shall meet our every need. Even though we cant see around the same corners you can we know that you would never abandon us in our blindness. You are Light and you make all things Light.

Father, help this family have the most blessed and peaceful Christmas they have ever had. Help them to draw close to one another. Help them meet any and all challenges which are before them. Shatter all which opposes them and your Will for their lives! We are grateful for the Vision which you hold for this family, and in the name of the Lord, we claim that Vision and that Plan and your divine Will for them!

Father, we call this forth only according to thy Will and we ask that our prayer may count for all who are in a similar situation of need.
