If you will notice all the cards when you pick yours, you will then notice that when the cards come back they have all changed. For instance, if the cards come up as the King of hearts, jack of clubs, king of spads, queen of diamonds, queen of clubs, and the jack of diamonds, You then pick the jack of clubs. When the five cards are returned they will all be different from the remaining five cards you did not pick. SO they end up like the Jack of hearts, King of Diamonds, queen of spads, king of diamonds, and the queen of hearts.

"Don't you feel dumb now?"Well, yeah, but it didn't take this for me to feel that way, I've been feeling that way for years...
Unfortunately, I posted it and then went back and looked more closely and kept a pen and paper on hand to scribble down the cards. Maybe I'll still forward it home and see if the kids can figure it out.

I bought the old man tickets one year. He said the show was amazing. He had close up seats and was determined to figgger' out each trick....he was amazed!
Enjoy the show - it'll be a good one.

I'd send it on...it's still fun the first time you see it.

Knowing how a lot of it is done can often detract from a show. But the masters like Copperfield are pure pleasure to watch.
