OK, let's talk about whatever you can think of to break the boredom, but nothing so deep that we'll have to think...OK?

Not sure about the Sonic ads. But what about the Quiznos ads?? Those creatures look like dehydrated mice. Nothing makes me hungrier than dead rodents around my sandwich.

If my law gig doesn't work out, I am thinking of going into advertising.

He's big enough to create and control that yet small enough to live inside us.

Yeah, I know what you mean. Or fashion designer, if half the population will buy all the trash they dish out, imagine how much they would buy of good fashions.

BTW, I always found Quizno ads to be just odd and out of synch. Some ad agencies have it, and some don't. OTOH, I think Honda has one of the best ad agencies, their commercials are almost always top notch. Especially love their "My husband was raised by wolves" ads.

I had the strangest dream the other night...maybe somebody can interpret it.

Someone walked up to me with a baking platter. I looked down and there was a meatloaf shaped into the exact likeness of John Kerry's head. I'm not kidding!

What does it all mean?

OK, I gotta ask, does anyone anywhere think those Sonic commercials are funny?

We don't get those commercials up here, but wassup with the Quizno rat commercial? Nothing says good eating like...rat mascots?!?!

I watched it too! I love to catch it on TCM because they have the guts to show it in all its glory.

Now, when are we going to start the "Live Countdown to Westminster" thread? Anyone interested in sharing their picks? As always I'm pulling for the bulldog!

Once you have seen "Best In Show" you can't watch Westminster without looking at the feet of the handlers. Kind of like watching golf after seeing "Caddyshack".

I was watching a porn flick last week, then things got really bad and the Grammy's broke out. (Old Hockey joke reference)

Hey, can I get some of you great gossipmongers over here to contribute to my lonely little thread...it's getting BADLY ignored! :-(

Here I am! Better late than never! I must have logged out of FR before seeing your plea to thread jump. Cat box needed scooping; they were beginning to revolt.

So what did I miss?

I had a strange dream, too.

I was watching a concert and the lady playing the cello was wearing a mini skirt....I think I want to be re-born as a cello. Oh, please, just practice twice a week.

With all the crude songs out these days, I started thinking about some of the old songs which say the same things, but will class.

Can you remember what song this is from.

That sweet scene of surrender
Where you gave me your heart

This one could hit 1000+ posts if we started talking about Scott Peterson or Michael Jackson (or any other equally worthless over-hyped news feeding frenzy), don't ya think? hehe
