Here's my 90' FLSTC with a little more chrome and some Knuckle Head bars...oils stains courtesy of a leaky power stearing hose on my cage.
Here's a picture main street Oatman AZ during the Laughlin River Run in 95' or 96'...they outlawed open containers and gratuitus nudity that year...a few locals still got a little action though...

Hope the new ones are more dependable than the vintage units. One of the nice things about the old Limeys was they were lightweight and easy to push. The new ones are liquid cooled, a mixed blessing. But the change hasn't been at the cost of the old styling. Not my pick now, though I had a few Triumphs back in the days, but new or old, they're purty.

Here is my current toy. 2003 BMW K1200RS. Luckily I am in South Florida and can ride year round. :) I miss the heck out of my old 1965 BMW R60, which served me well for more than a decade.
But I've now got a project in process, which might be done in time for my favored ride this year, if the required bits and pieces come my way. I'm taking my time and doing it right, in hopes it'll turn out looking about like this:

Lovely. Almost wish I'd waited and got one, but honestly the 900ss is all the power I need and perhaps slightly more comfortable. Alternately the new ST3, while not a work of art, is probably the most useful Ducati ever.

Now, just where in the HELL did you find a Vincent-Indian? (or is it an Indian-Vincent?)
Are there any more where that one came from? ;-)

Vindian, as generally described by those of us fond of both marques. There are still a few '48 Indian rolling chassis available from a couple of Indian restoration sources, Starklite being one of the most obvious, though Vincent engines are a bit harder to come by...and the Australian OHV replacement Indian motor is also a tempting proposition. There are around 5 Vindians that I know of, not including one built in the late '40s-early '50s using a Black Shadow engine. That one stayed in England....
But Patrick Godet/Egli-Vincent in France is one possible Vincent powerplant source...as well as a source of a Vincent-powered machine that's a beauty in itself.
Interestingly, the OHV-Vincent engine in Indian frame [with rear shocks 10 years ahead of Harley, and a 1-liter V-twin overhead almost a decade ahead of the OHV Sportster, was a Vincent-Indian factory proposition....
Ah, what might have been....

Well, if I beat you to the lottery winnings, I am going to get a Benelli Tornado. Pure sex on wheels:
I guess this means I should actually buy a few tickets? :)

I would love to restore an old WWII R75 complete with sidecar. :) Less the $30,000 or so the restored R75's have been going for, and the big Zundapps just as high and with scarce parts to boot, you might consider one of the Russian copies. The quality control has improved considerably in the last decade, and the sidecar wheel is powered just like the R75s.
Either the Ural or Dnepr MT-16 combinations ought to look awfully familiar to you....
