Kerry's Bracelet

I saw Kerry on TV today and he had some sort of a bracelet on, on the same wrist as his watch. Is that one of those abstinence bracelets, or maybe it's a hospital bracelet? Maybe a Madonna Kabalah (sp)? bracelet? Just wondering.

Was it the yellow one? If so, it's from the Lance Armstrong Foundation for fighting cancer.
Not political - I know conservatives who wear them. But I do think Kerry wears his for political reasons.

You can get them at livestrong.org - proceeds go towards cancer research through the Lance Armstrong Foundation. It's a good cause, whatever his reaons for wearing it. Bush wears one, too, and I've seen a lot of Olympic athletes wearing them. My whole family has them.

I got this

It was a bracelet that McGreevey sent him just before the cat was let out of the bag. It was originally pink, but because he refuse to remove it for any reason, his sweat turned it a urine color.

I noticed a co-worker wearing one the other day and gave him some good natured grief, calling it a Kerry band. He had no idea that Kerry has been spotted wearing the band and being a die-hard Bush supporter, he flared his nostrils in my direction. I gave it up, and we had a good laugh.
His dad is currently a cancer suvivor and my dad has just learned in the last week that he is fighting for his life.
A vet of WWII and Korea, he finally told me something from his life in the military.
He said: "We had people in (WWII) that liked to brag about their Purple Hearts and how they got them. We called them BLOW HARDS!"
Pray for my Dad.

Were you able to notice if he still had jelly on his forehead? Jelly from where the electroshock terminals were? If so, I'd say that's a bracelet from Dr. Jerry's Mental Health & Tire Store located in Correctionville, Iowa (real city).

You're all SSOOOOOO dense.
It's a copper 'yard bracelet that one of the green beanie guys gave him just before Kerry dropped him off to meet up with his Mike Force.
This was, of course, in addition to the boonie hat he was given. I'll bet Kerry still has the guy's K-Bar. As a matter of fact, a few months ago, didn't Kerry buy a jock-strap.
Won't this show up soon kinda mildewed and soggy?
