Challenge DNC Talking Points (A copy of the E-mail I sent to Fox this morning)

(It may not do any good, but if they get flooded with e-mail everytime they give the Kerry Rep. a free pass, they might eventually ask a tough question.)

Dear Fox & Friends,

Your guest Democrat this morning, like they do every time the subject comes up, claimed that Kerry was only repeating what some disgruntled soldiers told him. When they go to this DNC talking point, why do you never ask:

Why then did Kerry never apologize after many of those same veterans were exposed as imposters and or liars. Kerry’s Co-leader of the VVAW claimed to be an Air Force Pilot in Vietnam, but was a Sergeant who never left the United States.

What about all the times Kerry was clearly talking about his own experiences. In the New soldier epilogue Kerry describes shooting blindly from Swift Boats into villages. Kerry also said, “We went to Vietnam to kill Communism, but discovered we were killing women and children.” On Meet the Press, he said, “I committed atrocities.”

These are but a few examples of Kerry speaking about his own alleged observations. Yet when the Democrat talking heads trot out the party line, “Kerry was only repeating what others said.” It always goes unchallenged.

These people must get hundreds, if not thousands of emails like yours. Their lack of follow up or correction is pathetic. Makes you wonder if they're uninformed or just plain lazy. It's obvious that few, if any, have read "Unfit for Command," for if they did, their questions would be much more substantive.

Kerry's remarks back in 1971 were Hanoi Jane-ish, that is, traitorous. He might have believed THEN that he was right. Who knows, who cares. He did it. Water under the bridge.
Now, he KNOWS that what he did was wrong...especially when he wants to be the commander-in-chief of that same group of "war criminals."
He just doesn't have the guts to admit that he was wrong. He doesn't have the backbone to apologize.
He can't do it. He simply can't do it. You can't hate the whole tiger because of one of its stripes, no matter what. You can't hate Kerry because he is a moral coward...that's just who he is. To me, he is pathetic. But, there are many pathetic souls like him on this planet. Taking the easy path, the low road, so to speak, is what many people do. Always have; always will. "W" -- for whatever people might think of him, has guts. That's just who HE is.

Kerry is a noodle, not a leader. He can stay in the Senate. Senators are not leaders; they are lawmmakers. They deal with words. They all seem to be lawyers ('Nuf said.) Let him waffle in the breeze of the strongest lobbyists and fellow Senators. That seems to suit him and the voters of Massachusetts.

Those who vote for him as Senator or President, knowing his spinelessness, get exactly what they deserve.

from www.wintersoldier.com:

o Kerry's used "testimony" from the VVAW's "Winter Soldier Investigation" as the basis for his war crimes charges, although none of the witnesses there were willing to sign depositions affirming their claims. Later investigators were unable to confirm any of the reported atrocities, and in fact discovered that a number of the witnesses had never been in Vietnam, had never been in combat, or were imposters who had assumed the identity of real veterans.

o The deception extended to the VVAW leadership. Executive secretary Al Hubbard claimed to have been an Air Force captain wounded piloting a transport over Da Nang in 1966. Hubbard was actually a staff sergeant who was never assigned to Vietnam.

I understand that when Kerry was confronted with Al "Boom Boom" Hubbard's blatant and obvious deception, he said "well, those things happen".

Typical. What a scumbag.
