I feel sympathy for a bum like Matthews who does not have the intellect to fathom the idiocy of his own question.

Krissy was on a fishing expedition looking to pounce at the slightest slip up.
It isn't an intelligence deficit, Matthews is a very hollow chested worm of a human being. His prosecutorial tone with men who spent years in North Vietnamese prisons getting tortured was shameful. They are entitled to believe, and they have very good reason to believe, that John Kerry's treachery in '71 harmed them. They earned that. If we are a great Country, these men matter more than party loyalty and all other considerations. If I were a democrat, my patriotism wouldn't allow me to vote for John Kerry. PERIOD!!!
The very idea of their position that GWB's service in the ANG is morally equivalent to Kerry's treason makes my blood boil.
Another thing that ticks me off is that their side gets out there and makes these accusations about Bush's service (Harking today especially). The politicians on our side are always overly generous to Kerry regarding his time in Vietnam.
Of course, the democrats will pay for that in backlash from voters who WILL notice the disparity between the parties.
We hope the voters make them pay. I tell you, I can't see how anybody could vote for this traitor. I am baffled by it. I see Kerry lawn signs and I imagine an alien who pisses on Old Glory for kicks lives inside.
However, Galanti has said he didn't know it was Kerry until after he was freed but that Kerry's testimony was used against them.
Butler apparently served his purpose and was asked no more questions after that brief round. It was odd, given his remark about really earning a purple heart that Matthews ignored.
Here's a slip up, but it wasn't on Chrissy's side...the VVAW guy said that only one guy lied & it was about his rank...Steve Pitkin came forward recently to say that his entire testimony was false...
