Brit Hume just covered Kerry's quote in Outdoor Life magazine about owning a communist rifle to remind him of his M-16 that saved his life in Vietnam. Brit says that it turns out that the magazine never interviewed Kerry. Instead, they sent out a questionnaire. The Kerry campaign now says that Kerry did not answer the questions, but a campaign staffer answered for him. The staffer is to blame.
And don't forget, he doesn't fall down.
Besides, if he owned a chinese AK-47, he would have to register it and it would be subject to a FOIA request.

Don't blame Bush - blame his staffers - everything is A-OK that way - (like a good way to out the ones who are pretending to be on the side of Bush in the government)
And we are to believe that the campaign staffer just made something up! More likely this was just another one of Kerry's unnecessary lies that came back to bite him, umm the staffer.
Brit making a comment that the 'red' in Kerry's face is something he "apparently picked up over the weekend". It isn't make up or camera adjustments to make him look 'red in the face.'

Kerry blames his staff for the screw up. Kerry always finds someone else to blame for everything. Kerry does not take personal responsibility for anything. That is the kind of character he is.

This just doesn't compute....John F'n "flip-flop fop" Kerry is supposed to be a "hands on" type of guy....into everything and making all the decisions.

Right...a low-level staffer makes up a story about his boss the presidential candidate cherishing his favorite communist Chinese semiautomatic rifle that happens to be outlawed in the U.S. It COULD happen. Right. Just like the TANG memos. LOL
I hope you guys all caught the last bit on Special Report which was an interview of Big Foot by Dan Rather. I still have tears in my eyes.

It tells you a lot about a person when they instinctively blame their staff fotr foul ups. My last boss was like that - I quit the job cold on her and she was so angry and bitter over it, she badmouthed me on my way out.
I made the right call. She didn't. She was relived of her duty as head of the department and was transfered to a cubicle in Accounting, amazingly enough, with a job description that simply defies belief.
Well, it's JUST believable. I mean, they were going to send Teddy Kennedy to stump for the ticket...in Mary Jo Kopechne's home town...
