Spam is icky. Needs mustard and cheese.
Do you do laundry in marathon sessions of "laundry day", or a load at a time every day or two?
~shakes head~ ;~D
Seriesly, Bear, what's the tagline about?
Cheney did do well. He sticks to the important stuff and ignores the Spam that Edwards spews ;~D
I do both. :)
Oh, it's still loading.
I'm thoroughly stuned.
Well, for a marathon laundry day, I could see that you could turn on a space heater and warm it up on Saturday when you were gonna be out there. Might not be worth it for just one load.
He has weirder stuff at his home page...
OK. I'll check out my hosting service's site, and see if there are any reports of others having problems too.
Sometimes the answers lead to more questions ;~D
You've got that right... I usually get geek jokes but the badger-badger thing has me stumped.
It's the sort of thing that causes people to wander in the streets mumbling to themselves.
The badgers were very cute... I wonder about the mushroom.
The mushrooms, like, totally enhance the badgers, man. Now if you'll excuse me, I have some Frampton to listen to...
OT: We got one of those oil-filled heater that looks like a radiator (we got ours at Lowe's) . It has a simple 24-hour clock with tabs you click to have it turn itself on and off at pre- determined times. It might work great to take the chill of the garage when you do laundry, and it is much safer than a space heater.LSA
Anybody home??? Or did I get here too late...?
Ah... thanks... I hadn't seen the Special Badger edition ;~D
Ok, that one's funny cuz of the map.
Here! I am stayin' up late tonight... Matt and Trey - Team America are going to be on Leno tonight.
Where are ya?
I'm in the hotel. In Menlo.
Bad things happening all around me here. It's gonna be a long night. We had to let somebody go today. Tonight the security alerts are going nuts. Not a fun situation.
But the movie is still pretty good.
I'm watching "Trigun". Pretty bizarre anime... the outlaw gunman who manages to destroy towns just by showing up is a wimp who likes donuts and freaks out at the sight of blood.
The dude you let go is trying to get in?
But that is such a dumb thing to do. It's not like a guy would get away with it if there was damage.
Maybe, only I think he just shows up and people start shooting. I'm only on episode 2 anyway.
I don't actually think he would do any damage. I mainly need to make sure, and show, that we can keep him out. He did get in earlier this evening on somebody else's account. We were lucky to find it right away, and it was only for a few minutes. He was writing a strange apology message to somebody else in the group when we pulled the plug.
I probably shouldn't say much else here. [sigh]
I hate when that happens!
Good night all.
That says it all.
Last night's debate was a thing of beauty. Thank heavens for Dick Cheney.
Okay, I could try that. Where you do buy the oil for it?
Breck Girl almost broke my TV.
Awwwh, but he's so purty. (*hack*cough*sputter*)
Please...I'm trying to eat breakfast here.
*mwumpfh* Me, too. What got me was all the chattering on the local news progs. The morons in this lame--- state actually though Breck won! They fell for his slick lawyering. I'm aghast.
It's already filled with oil, you just plug it in and the oil is electrically heated. The oil doesn't burn so you never have to replace it.
Doh! For some reason I had heating oil on my mind. BTW the furnace runs on natural gas.
I didn't listen to much of the debate last night (should be able to listen to a little more tonight), but from what little I heard, I thought Cheney did a great job!
We had a hard frost this morning...and I still don't have bulbs in the ground. I sure hope I didn't miss the deadline again! Tonight I have to pick yet ANOTHER new spot and hope it's diggable. Is that a word? I may also scoop out the gravel in my original spot and fill the hole with soil. Dunno what I'll do with the gravel, though. Chuck it down the hill behind the house, I guess.
I quilled it good...
ohfercryinoutloud...nobody told me we were movin'...where's muh room?
In other news...turns out muh Monday experience was a bit more of a mini-drama than I knew. I was really out of it, but I knew my neighbor picked me up instead of my brother-in-law. Apparently after I was already under wife found out they didn't want me alone at all and asked b-i-l to pick me up a little later. He completely bailed because he had to be somewhere at 3:00 p.m. (I was ready to go at 1:00). Anyway, neighbor stepped in and brought me home. B-i-l hasn't even acknowledged it, even though wife spent 30 minutes of her class time arranging for back up and almost had to cancel a class...
And thus, our continued frustration in caring for Nana. Five siblings and assorted spouses. We're the only dependable ones...and that's a little scary.
Wife will be talking to the rehab center today. SWorker said that they can only keep her until they've taken her as far as they can with therapy. I'm thinkin' if she can't get out of bed by herself they ain't takin' her far enough...we'll see.
And, while I'm mostly better, I'm still waking up 1-2 times a night with the cough. Wife hasn't quite got the hint that saying "drink some hot tea" isn't helpful when I can't breathe...
Oddly though, I'm in decent spirts today...didn't see all of the debate but loved it when Cheney said "the first time I've met you was on this stage tonite." Scuse the graphical nature of the comment, but as a friend of mine used to say, Edwards is "slicker than snot on a doorknob..."
Sorry 'bout the continuing mini-dramas. The siblings really need to grow up, already! Geesh...
