A couple weeks ago, I was in the local Sam's Club. The book "Unfit for Command" was the only book on all the book racks which were not priced, indicating they were full Priced. I found the manager(who at first refused to sticker the books) then notified home office, they stickered the books Today I was in a different Sam's and the same scenario was repeated. Everybody should check their local Sam's or other book sellers to see if "Unfit for Command" is getting a fair showing. There were 13 anti-bush titles all discounted. The higher price discourages buyers.

I was at our Costco today and "unfit for command" was put alongside the anti Bush diatribe "unfit commander".

Maybe they don't have to reduce the price to sell the product. They can charge anything they want, it is their business.

Same discount in our two local Sam's Clubs.

Maybe they don't have to reduce the price to sell the product. They can charge anything they want, it is their business. It is not the business of the local store manager. He's an employee like any other, who is obligated to follow the policy of the HQ office. The point of the beginning of the thread is that local store managers are leaving stickers off, that are supposed to be on, in an effort to hurt sales of the book

Unfit For Command is still #43 on Amazon.
Bill Clinton's "My Lies" er "My Life" is at #51
Kitty Kelley's trash is at #141.
Hillary's "Living History" is #891
By the way, Ann Coulter's "How to Talk to a Liberal (If You Must)" is at #7.

Sounds like something the Walmart corporate gang should
know about. I might be wrong but I seem to recall that
Sam Walton was chummy with Billy Clinton but that the Wal-
marters have tossed quite a bit of green in the direction
of conservative politicians the last several years. On the
other hand, Costco and Target have been giving more $$ to
the 'RATs.
The campaign to slime Walmart and Sam's as bad employers
comes from the left, if I'm not mistaken. If true, it
doesn't seem that they would be socking it to 'Unfit for
Command' customers. Maybe the demand is such that they can
ask full price and still sell out of stock?

My local Wal-Mart(s) have ton's of O'Neill's
"Unfit for Command" prominently displayed, deeply discounted, and right up there with Clinton's hideous autobiography.
It's selling like hotcakes.
Even my local neighborhood homo bookstore, (not that there's anything wrong with that) has it stacked right out front and easy to find. That's the status here in New Hampster, anyway.

I think you missed my point. I don't care the price, I care that the management is discouraging the sale by not pricing the book as they do all books.
