Thank You President Bush!! (sorry, vanity, but a rare one)

I haven't posted 3 vanities in over 6 years here.

Please forgive and don't zot this one.

I want expecially to give a great and heartfelt thanks to our President, on this most eventful day.

I am tearful with admiration for this highest character example of a man, who has taken a battery of criticism and attacks as he climbed this mountain to a successful completion, and planted the US flag at the top of it.

He stood strong, and took every blow on behalf of all good people everywhere. I love this man. He is a hero of our times, and I'm so proud to call him my president.

Excellent - I, too, am proud of our President. The overwhelming support shown from the conservative hearts of our country has had me in tears all day. Just when we felt we would be overcome by the whines and rants of liberals, our fellow Americans came through for us in record numbers to show their support for a moral, God fearing leader.

Being one of the more vocal vanity nazis here, I for one totally forgive you this one.

As a matter of fact, I couldn't agree with you more. You should have seen my huge smile watching the acceptance speech. And the tears of pure joy.

Yeah. It's a choker alright. I am so teared up I can't spell especially, well. ha

It is as I have always believed, no matter what, -- the American people are good people. And with great men leading them they are great.

Agreed, thank you President Bush. This mans greatness has not even begun to be noticed. When we look back at what he has accomplished in such a short time, under extremely difficult conditions, he will rightly be viewed alongside Ronald Reagan as one of the greatest modern day Americans.

PS. I started this same thread yesterday, before the election. He had my thanks regardless of outcome.

President Bush handled himself like a decent man.

Kerry behaved lower than whale shilt most of the time.

I am very proud of W.

Do you realize what a risk it is to believe this? This is what I most admire in President Bush, he truly believes in the goodness and decency of people. Even when the Kerry camp reduced themselves to name calling, the President ignored them and took his message to the people, come what may. The left calls it arrogance, I call it the quality of a man that history will show as one of our greatest Presidents.

Preach it I do. Politics being local and all, I made sure everyone in my life was voting, and for Bush too. I was amazed at how many young persons were already voting for Bush. Kerry supporters were rare at my son's high school.

Yeah, and I realize too how much the other guys rely on Americans that don't believe it. But our President isn't one of them, and that is a powerful thing, and I one of Reagan's strengths too.

"Kerry supporters were rare at my son's high school."

The disdain for Kerry at our public schools was palpable.
