Recently my father-in-law passed away. He had a giant steel building he kept a huge variety of tools in, it was his workshop. I am talking 40 feet by 50 feet of over 5000 sockets (metric and SAE) , hundreds of allen wrenches, sheet metal, many bench tools. I am looking for a way to get rid of it all so she can sell her house and the utility buildings and sheds that all these tools occupy and have reached a dead end. Can anyone point me in the right direction? She lives in Burleson, TX and is willing to give it all away if someone will just come and get it all.

i'd love to come get it, but texas is too far fer me. That said, you can try ebay either yourself, or through a third party.

I haven't any advice, but this seems a good thread to mention it. My hubby passed away on Oct 29th and I have quite a bit of 2 way radio and electronic stuff to sell. I'm near Memphis. From a Bird watt meter, a box of scan boards, 2 portable radios and a Power Wave unit for a 800mhz transmitter.

Try an Auction House. They will do the advertising and bring the customers in. They can attract people though out the state and (sic) Oklahoma.

Due to your location, security will be a problem if you advertise yourself in the paper. Some may come look to see what you got and clean you out that night. You may more money there than you know.

Wish I had the money to buy some things from you (three kids, 4 vehicles). Good luck.
