OTOH, the Social Security Solvency Committee insists that nothing less than 100 horsepower at the rear wheel will make you feel young again.

Another tip from a 50 year (no accidents:-) rider:

Ride with the assumption that no one can see you.

This tip is null and void if you're too old to see those who can't see you.

I new a guy in the service that was so short, every time he came to a stop he had to slide over to touch the ground. Now, that's determination.

If you ride a Harley, you can claim the Depends in the saddlebags are for the bike.

Reacting to a hazard may take twice as long for a rider in middle age (40 to 54)...

What a crock! Everyone knows that middle age starts at 65. It does, you know, it really does. It does, godammit.

My Uncle rode a Harley until the day he died at age 84 - in a motorcycle accident. A truck pulled out in front of him. It was in no way his fault.

He drove his Harley regularly between Miami, Florida and Chicago, Illinois.

What a load of pure bullsh!t!!

Everyone over 40 that was part of this survey must has been highly medicated on Valium or something similar.

Ageism at it's finest ~ the reason there are more baby boomers killed while riding bikes, is, there are more baby boomers riding bikes.

Choose a motorcycle with large dials and easy-to-read symbols.

Okay.

I haven't seen much post-mortem activity from most of 'em...unlike a couple of scooter drivers I can think of.
