That and Chief Justice Bird letting a man go back for retrial (because a prosecutor had read his diary about how much he loved raping and smothering a baby) shocked a heck of a lot of people. People woke up to how liberals viewed justice. Liberals seemed to think that only hate crimes deserved jail time.

Sounds like the Muslims are in there. That is a favorite of their's when they catch someone stealing.

Everyplace does. However, for someone with money (Americans) that wants to do something kinky - wouldn't Mexico be an ideal place to pull something? You can pay off the police, etc. If you have money, you can literally get away with murder.

You may THINK you blame the "monster" who did this to her, but you had a choice about what words you typed to this forum after you read the story -- and you chose NOT to comment on the "monster." Instead, you chose to comment on the VICTIM's behavior before she was mutilated. And only after people gave you sh*t did you find the strength to type something about the "monster."

Why state the obvious? Waste of bandwidth.
usually people do not bleed out from transverse cuts at the wrist. If the cuts are angled, there is a real probability of bleed out. Clotting is sufficient to impede the flow of blood through smaller low pressure arteries distant from the heart.
By contrast, the large artery in the upper arm is quite large, and with a single cut there the victim will usually bleed out in less than 5 minutes.
