I don't agree. A lot of these people are beginning to see there is a liability to being aligned with the Clintons. After all - these are all Clinton judges who are killing Terri. I don't think most people want that type of legacy.
And .. there is a group of democrats who are organizing to stop Hillary. I don't know their names .. I've just heard there is a group who are going to actively campaign against her.
Not every democrat is a sychophant for the Clintons.
Kate Adamson did. ABC knows that. But why let the facts get in the way of liberal spin?
All we can do is trust that God knows and let go and let God. Pray (a lot!) God has some reason for all this. What are we to learn from this experience? What are Terri, Michael, and the rest of the people involved to learn from it? Whatever teh outcome, God will turn it to good. That's what God does.
Yeah, like you might die in mysterious circumstances, as so many of their friends have done.
Amen. Sadly Christians will be the scape goat, for any perceived political backlash.
Long overdue, the leadership has been spineless far too long. They rejected Nickles and crowned Frist to be their official wimp. Trent the Wimp was as solid as an oak compared to what we have now.
What about last minute death row appeals?
That is only for those that have committed a crime.
yes. I wonder if the police, the hospice workers etc. will be like the residents around Dachau when the horror of what happened is revealed. Those people said "we didn't know".
I've done too many times on FR.. Google it..
Repeal of judicial immunity would require that the legislature pass a bill and the executive sign it into law. I have no doubt that the judiciary would do their best to derail the effort, but the legislature--at the federal level anyway--has the authority to deny the judiciary authority to rule upon any law. I don't expect to see this happen anytime soon. Legislators are typically lightweights and executives typically will never stick their necks out. My guess is that it will be up to the people to revolt to bring our government back under control.
Under provisions of Florida Statute 250.28, the Governor may utilize the guard in order to execute the laws of the state when the local authorities are not able to.
Orders issued by Pinellas Circuit Judge George Greer are in clear violation Article I Section 2 of the Constitution of the State of Florida.
These orders have created confusion as to what course of action is to be taken by local authorities, and has resulted in a resistance to protecting the rights of Terri Schiavo.
Under Florida Statue 250.28, the Governor is given authority to use the National Guard to prevent resistance to the execution of state laws.
Not quite anything.. He can and should be impeached.
Vengence is the Lord's.
Somebody has got to step in do what's needed -- tell Greer to go to Hell.
Jeb ought to use his Constitutional power. And Congress ought to come and serve those subpoenas, then insist that their witness be protected, with Federalpenalties attached.
I agree that even judicial immunity won't prevent impeachment, but judges don't have to worry about impeachment--the likelihood of being blown up in an al Qaeda terrorist action is far, far greater than the likelihood of a judge being impeached these days.
"Here's a Judge Greer picture for all to enjoy."
I was surprised to see his reflection.
Folks, it's obvious Jeb doesn't want to do anything further. While I'm thankful for what he has done, as long as he is unwilling to do EVERYTHING he has he authority to do, it's over..
All the more reason why it must be done. The people should DEMAND the impeachment of Greer (and Whittemore.)
