Kudos to Rush in his coverage of the Terri Schiavo national tragedy. He has never been so openly pro-life. He has been a voice of reason amidst the hysteria, pointing out the important issues and facts surrounding Terri's situation, including the conflicts-of-interest involved and the problem of our runaway judiciary.
Rush has faced lots of criticism from his own fan base and has held firm. And he has held on to importance of maintaining the rule of law, even in a system obviously broken and in dire need of repair. (IMO, getting rid of a lot of judges is the single best thing this country can do.)
Thank you, Rush Limbaugh!

sincere ditto here
I think he's doing a good job - calm, not hysterical at all. He did mention, however, that he was surprised at the many vituperative e-mails he got (from Republicans) screaming at him for supporting life for Terri. And then there were the ones screaming that it was all Bush's fault. Sounds kind of familiar...
Agreed Rush and Sean have been lions during the last week. Standing up for what is right whatever the cost.
He has in fact done that.
Semper Fi
Amen. Praise to Rush. He fought the Good Fight. And also to Hannity-- who studied this matter with great intensity, and I personally want to praise Savage, who brought the greatest fire and was actually able to focus on it for several days.
And then I'd like to thank Jesse Jackson and Ralph Nader.
FReegards....
What an obsurdity for the law to allow a state judge to put a person to death. A probate judge???...he treated a human being like a piece of furniture...
Arg, and the Pope and Mel Gibson. Don't forget them, Arthur....
In related news, has Jesse Hijack-son slithered away now?
"Keeeh hoooowwpe Aliiiiiii!!!"
If you've listened to Limbaugh at all, you already knew what his view was. He's sounding today exactly like I knew he would. I'm surprised that these people were surprised.
I refuse to listen to Rush any longer...he is double minded about Terri.
He says follow the "rule of law"...but I thought following the rule of law meant obeying the Constitution.
Alan Keyes, Judge Roy Moore, Randal Terry, Pat Buchanan, and all the other die-hard Republicans deserve praise too, obviously. Can't thank Boortz though. FReegards....
Also, Laura Ingraham, Joe Scarborough, Nat Hentoff, Pat Buchanan and Joe Lieberman. Any others? I want to make a list, because these are the only people I respect at this point.
There's an old saying: "The Constitution is not a suicide pact."
(That may actually be literal in this case.)
I'll second that.
I bet Mike Reagan and Oli North did a good job too, although I didn't hear them. Rush may be my favorite, but everyone deserves credit.
Most of all, I should thank JimRob for putting up with me.
FReegards....
His accuracy rate has declined precipitiously as he repeated the numerous unfounded allegations as truth.
His emotion overcame his reason.
Sean Hannity.
IMHO, he had to do twice as much to offset Butthead Colmes.
And our own Mark Levin.....
Rush has been the voice of reason.

When one like Terri goes Home so do we Rush will always be home!
That was my only complaint. As the female caller said earlier, they had 'rule of law' in Nazi Germany, too, but it was right to defy it.
Mr. Limbaugh has truly provided excellence in broadcasting.
Savage has wanted the law broke by the Bushes. He's so jealous of Rush you can hear it in his voice.
I have always found Rush to be logical and non-hysterical and always with a sense of humor. Yes, the intricacies of our legal system have to be carefully analyzed by those who have more knowledge. (I have learned so much through Rush and conservative/libertarian blogs and am still learning a bit more day by day).
Mel Gibson.....
Gore Attorney Boies?, Lanny Davis, Joe Scarborough(! !), 40+ Democrat House Members, etc.
A Big Raspberry to You!
Just as I was listening to Rush talking about how the left will now be able to focus on protecting Scott Peterson and others from the Death Penalty, I did a search on Michael Schiavo and found a website in defense of Death Row convicts. Posted on that website is a statement by Michael Schiavo regarding his decision to remove Terri's feeding tube. I tried to go back to the site to find out more information about the website's stand about the Schiavo case, but the site is "temporarily unavailable".
Mega Dittos to the Maha Rushie
Yes, Thank you Rush. May God continue to keep you strong and courageous! Sean and all the others also!
Absolutely. But this day has been coming for a long, long time. It didn't happen over night and won't be fixed over night. And it won't be fixed at all unless our reps take it seriously. And of course, the left would rather it stay this way, IMHO.
As one who prodded Both President and Governor Bush to do more, this is no time to shoot our own. This is the time to redouble our efforts to "take back our constitution". If we shot everybody who didn't do all they could - there would be nobody left standing.
Right, and I'm getting tired of hearing him call Rush, "Hush Bimbo". I enjoy calling lib-dem garbage names, but not one of our own.
Don't forget the 90% of Freepers who saw the wrong in this immediately. (I know that would make for an awfully long list.)
"If we shot everybody who didn't do all they could - there would be nobody left standing."
I would not be left standing. I could have done more earlier. FReegards....
Agreed. Laura cares about the truth...not just entertaining the masses.
Yeah, Savage's Rush-bashing gets on my nerves too. Perhaps he should focus more on his own program. But I still think he had a lot of good interviews, helped tremendously with the information blitz, and helped people care. At least Savage wasn't anything like Boortz. FReegards....
Me, too.
I am sure that someone else has had this brain fart before. Freepers, conservatives, libertarians, any concerned citizen who wants to learn more about how government works (a civics class basically), the Constitution, the Supreme Court, Federalist Papers, etc etc. should organize into small groups of 10-25 once a week either around a person who will act as teacher ( I am sure there are many gifted folks among us) or more informally as a study group. It has been my experience that most people know diddly about politics and most of their opinions are based on emotion (even when they're on the right side of things). Politicians on both the right and left play upon this ignorance. Personally I think the Democrats have more of a vested interest in keeping people ignorant but the Republicans are not entirely blameless either. I really would like some feedback on this...or if it's happening already let me in on it. I am in NYC (I know, a state with a sickly hue of blue)....but give me a break.
I love Laura
"And our own Mark Levin"
One of the most important ones, is our Mark.
Man is anyone listening to this lawyer on Rush now? What a piece of garbage, using this opportunity to bash the Schindler's priest. This is NAUSEATING.
Beyond nauseating. BEYOND.
