My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

a poem for Efrain Bartolomé
one night
I heard a voice
speak poetic rivers and stars
over leopard jungles
and there stood this man
dressed in white
reading,
rain forests
in his pockets
and I could hear
the rustle of forest animals
when he moved
his feet.
his words
floated across the room to me
and landed powerfully
on my face
a push
a forceful brush across my cheek
with falcon feathers
scented of tree bark
and mountain winds
blowing from Chiapas
a welcome
from a foreign
place.
I was graced
with an audience
a book
a signature
from a new friend
and a voice
that told me histories
in slow syllables
comfortable meanderings
between our languages
his words
translated themselves
and they were the same
as mine
a blessing.

Good morning everyone.

Good morning, Sam.
a poem for Efrain Bartolomé
WOW, what a poem today.
The images are so strong, so filled with raw emotion and movement. Very powerful.
Thank You for everything.
Listening to the tunes as I type.

The Legend...
The Legend tells as dusk falls
brown eyes smile
in the ceremony of
flight in loving months
the friendship
shant wane
I would be so hurt
to lose you...
there is not a best
nor a worse of you
there is only you
on the astral slide
we are to play
I'll fling you a comet tail
draw you to me
wear you like a
rainbow...an flash
my colors at you
it will not wane...
We meet in the dark
place wired for sound
... dots, flash,
sparkle in silence
you are my noise
forever...
lighting candles
under the stars...

Feathered love dances
effortlessly
your gravity arcs enviously
your eyes found a vessel on ethereal wings
you defied splendor...

PROFOUND THOUGHTS:
1. Give a person a fish and you feed them for a day;
teach that person to use the Internet and they won't
bother you for weeks.
2. Some people are like Slinkies . . . not really good
for anything, but you can't help but smile when you
see one tumble down the stairs.
3. I read recipes the same way I read science fiction..
I get to the end and I think,
"Well, that's not going to happen."
4. Health nuts are going to feel stupid someday, lying
in hospitals dying of nothing.
5. The other night I ate at a real family restaurant.
Every table had an argument going.
6. Have you noticed since everyone has a camcorder
these days no one talks about seeing UFOs like they
used to?
7. According to a recent survey, men say the first
thing they notice about a woman is their eyes, and
women say the first thing they notice about men is
they're a bunch of liars.
8. Whenever I feel blue, I start breathing again
9. All of us could take a lesson from the weather. It
pays no attention to criticism.
10. Have you noticed that a slight tax increase costs
you two hundred dollars and a substantial tax cut
saves you thirty cents?
11. In the 60's people took acid to make the world
weird. Now the world is weird and people take
Prozac to make it normal.
12. Politics is supposed to be the second oldest
profession. I have come to realize that it bears a
very close resemblance to the first.
13. There is a theory which states that if ever
anybody discovers exactly what the Universe is for
and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and
be replaced by something even more bizarre and
inexplicable. There is another theory which states
that this has already happened.
14. How is it one careless match can start a forest
fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
15. You read about all these terrorists--most of them
came here legally, but they hung around on these
expired visas, some for as long as 10-15 years.
Now, compare that to Blockbuster: you're two days
late with a video and those people are all over you. Let's
put Blockbuster in charge of immigration.

Good evening Ms. Feather!
Such wonderful poetry and music in the Lair today, thank you!
To: laurenmarlowe
Good evening, ms marlowe, thank you.
Hope you had a nice day today, did you have to work?
It was a nice day here overcast most of the day and then showers this evening. We need the rain, it's so dry.

I hope you get a good rain soon, Ms. Feather. We got quite the storm in the middle of the night, and I never heard a thing!
I did have to work today, but it was fun.
We had a Youth Music Competition and Festival here today.
1200 children from around the State were competing in all forms of classical music training; piano, vocal, instrumental
hymns and duets. It is a very rewarding day of work!
