Cool. I was in Aktau, but only a few days. One day too many, actually. There (reportedly) was no fuel for the return trip, so our group had to sit around for another day. Wasn't a whole lot to do, either. We'd already seen every museum and government office, and the one shopping mall. And swimming the Caspian didn't seem to be an option, since Iran was on the other side.

Naw, a crisp 120 degrees during the day dropping to a brisk 100 at night. That's not warm, it's just right.

I went to Friva in 2002 and it was great at Treasure Island. The Pirate Show was dismantled after that but we saw the ships sink numerous times while enjoying adult beverages. I have a Pirate Chapter thread about Friva Las Vegas 2002 on my profile page.
