Rolling Stones new cd reviewed (my first vanity)

Finally I have a vanity post worthy of Freepers...
A friend of mine here in Germany is a music editor for a magazine. He is a true blue lifelong Rolling Stones fan (as well as a leftie) and has been to a Pre-Listening Session of the new Rolling Stones album today.
Now this is exactly what he told me about it:
"It sucks."

Thanks for the info. Can't say I'm terribly surprised. Although when I saw them in 1998, they put on a very good show.

Have the Stones done a decent album since "Some Girls" or "Sticky Fingers," whichever came last?
BTW, the amazingly dessicated Keith Richards really needs to have his corpse preserved after death and studied by science. Personally I think he's a space alien from Krypton. How else can you explain the fact that he's still alive after what he's done to himself?

I heard a cut (Rough Justice?) from their new cd on the radio the other day.
It's an understatement to say it sucked.
I've heard garage bands that were better.
