Finally I have a vanity post worthy of Freepers...

A friend of mine here in Germany is a music editor for a magazine. He is a true blue lifelong Rolling Stones fan (as well as a leftie) and has been to a Pre-Listening Session of the new Rolling Stones album today.

Now this is exactly what he told me about it:

"It sucks."

BTW, the amazingly dessicated Keith Richards really needs to have his corpse preserved after death and studied by science. Personally I think he's a space alien from Krypton. How else can you explain the fact that he's still alive after what he's done to himself?

Well, possibly "Tattoo You" in 1981.  It wasn't great but it was okay.

I heard a cut (Rough Justice?) from their new cd on the radio the other day.

It's an understatement to say it sucked.

Rolling Stones. Didn't they used to be a rock band? I seem to remember them from when I was a little kid. They didn't "get no" something or other.
