Your temperature sounds wonderful. We are sitting at 75. Heat index 80. Suppose to be very hot for the next few days.
Toby, I'm not convienced ALL the pubbies understand.
One Republican Congressman who DOES understand is Iowa's Steve King, from our 5th District. He held a pow wow in Des Moines on Monday, bringing in quite a group of Big Name speakers. Several of the speakers were interviewed on the local morning talk show.
I was driving and got to hear about an hour of the 3 hr program. Sometime after I had arrived at my destination and was no longer listening, King called for a barb wire fence from California to TX. It's causing quite a stir here as people react to his proposal.
So, my answer is: Some of the big time pubbies get it, but for whatever reason, some of them don't. I expect this to be a huge issue during the next political campaign.

Good morning, prairaie. Glad you slept well and the worst of the hard work is behind you (hopefully). You probably aren't coming anywhere close to SC in your adventures, but if you are, please let us know.
SC isn't in the immediate plans but on down the line, who knows? Will definitely keep it in mind though!
