The History Channels slanted "viewpoint" of the 9-11 tragedy is on now. DISPICABLE.

The History channel is regirgitating a slanted viewpoint of the 9-11 terrorist attack on America. A coverage that the DNC would be proud to endorse. I wrote them an email just before this posting:

Your programming of the events of 9-11 is dispicably slanted to the extreme left. It's as if the Democratic National Committee made this footage in preparing for the upcoming national elections by denigrating the President of the United States, placing in your interviews known extreme leftest, liberal wackos on this disgusting program. I will let the whitehouse, and news stations of this dispicable anti-Bush slanted coverage of the 911 disaster and will show them this slanted coverage of 9-11 to all my friends and relatives so that they will know what kind of "history" you people really want to report. The leftwing, licentious, ludicrous, luciferian, lying, liberal view of all of our history. I for one will NEVER AGAIN WATCH THIS CHANNEL BECAUSE OF IT'S BIASED, SLANTED, LYING, VIEW OF YOUR SO-CALLED "REPORTING" OF HISTORY. YOU MAKE ME SICK!!!!!!!!

What is eating at him is the evading, lying, terrible reporting intentionally of the 9-11 show he was watching, I was outraged in less than 6 minutes or so while I was working on the computer on this site yesterday when my husband turned it there and was listening (had no choice since I have dial-up and PC is situated in the open room where TV is and unlike dem's can do more than one thing at a time) and I came unglued in less than 6 minutes...they had on Brookings institute guy, CNN guy always on that wrote a book about al queda so called expert, and someone else I can't think of right now before I said if you do not turn that I am going to shoot the T.V. set and meant it...I gave up a long time ago on the History Channel, I do watch a few and of course u have to sort the wheat from the chafe, but this was unbearable, purposely...all dem's talking points. For people who have not read about the whole thing through tons of books, long before Bush was Pres. they would know no difference, that is what they count on. Sadly there are too many!

By the way I know these peoples names by heart but have a mind blank at the moment of their names, they are pure socialists putting it politely. If I could only stand 6 minutes of it and told my husband to turn it which I never do...I was furious, my husband knows I know alot of what I speak cuz I fill him in...he gets very angry at the History Channel too on other subjects so there you go! It was terrible, and enough to make anyone mad that is truly up on politics.

By the way I think, not sure Ted Turner used to have something to do with the History channel, could be wrong.

This may seem a little odd, but I frequent used book store, library sales and such gathering up old text books and history books from before 1950.

I do too! Thrift stores are also great sources of QUALITY books for pennies.

I found the leather-bound Harvard Classics for $2.95 a piece and the leather-bound Complete Works of Shakespeare for $10.95.

I also found Eisenhower's "Crusade in Europe" for a buck. It is the perfect compliment to my "Pictoral History of WWII", which actually started publishing volumes during the war.

I learned to find books in thrift stores from the late Fr. Pete, a German priest who worked at the library at Notre Dame, and would winter at our parish in Arizona.
