In short, we found that by and large the "liberals" were "haters" of everything Bush and branded their counterpart "conservatives" as enemies to be struck down using any means possible including obviously illegal and deceitful threats, etc. Most could hardly be considered “liberal” by the standard definition.
We know the liberals are thugs and goons -- and it's one of the reasons we don't want them running the country. Would they put us in "camps"? Yeah, they would -- and we know it.
And i'm going to look outside to see if it's snowing yet. I'd prefer the beach for a day or two.
You're right -- there's very little effort to be fair -- in spite of it hurting the bottom line. They'd rather lose money then give up their hate. Strange.
Links are good. Post one here in the thread if you can. It give more credibility to what you posted, and a chance for the reast of us to check it out further. Right now a number are skeptical, and for good reason.

Forty years ago when I was in grad school--and on a "
conservative" campus, I noticed a differencde between my liberal professors and my fellow grad students. The former were quite civil; the latter were not, and wre frankly contemptuous of opposing views. They are now the professorate and their venom was not created, only intensified by the events of the late '60s.
What's sad is that most of these editors don't realize how stunted they are. The problem with the media, schools, universities is that by rewarding seniority rather than merit, all they have are these badly aging Baby Boomers who are resentful because they were raised in an age in which they were conditioned to believe that everybody had to strive to become the president of the United States, and if they didn't, they were failures. That's the reason for their envy, resentment, bitterness, unrelenting hostility; he symbolizes their own failure, appalling lack of attractiveness and competence.
I invite you to post anything pro-Bush there and watch the "gang mentality" at work. Newbies of conservative bent are not welcome there. Liberals (ok. Leftists) are hailed. Nothing surprising there considering Bruce's politics.
Other tactics were a little surprising: personal threats against conseravatives with impunity for starters; the posting of gleaned personal info
What matters is that a statement has a ring of truth and familiarity with what we observe to be true.
With original research, there is no study or previously existing study to cite.

When I was a teenager, it was LIBERAL HIPPY youth minister who taught me to question everything and remain open minded to opposing POVs. The skills he taught me led me from liberalsim to conservatism (a path many take as wisdom and experience overtakes environment). Sadly, there don't appear to be many TRUE liberal Democrats like him left, and the country is worse off because of it. Today's campuses are the breeding ground of Leftist ignorance and intolerance.

Many liberals seemed to have gone off the Deep End and morphed into anything other than liberal.
I consider myself to be a "true liberal" in that I embrace positive change started with good ideas that benefit all, bur most of all, personal responsibility....and not blaming everything and anything or everyone for your conditions (does that make me a conservative of today?)
Most college students haven't figured out what they are yet, except are usually willing to protest anything that comes along.
