It was a "Rally for America"
Do you remember that these rallies were being organized on a grassroots level by FR and some others all across the country?
Anyways it was the first support the troops rally in MI.
Myself and 2 other Freepers organized the whole dang thing!
I was MC cuz no one else would take the job!
I will say that this is one of my proudest accomplishments
Yes - I remember those rallies. That is outstanding that you jumped up and took charge. I would be very apprehensive about apeaking like that.
I do one on one and small group presentations for my job, but in front of a large crowd it would be diffrent...

Let's hear some other tips for easy information-gathering.
Jeff Foxworthy did a routine about the difference between men and women.
If a woman gets a divorce, she has to talk the entire night with her female friends about what she's going through.
For the guy, if he is with his friend at the gym, it pretty much goes like this.
"Bob, I'm getting a divorce."
"That's too bad. Hey can you spot me?"
The four stages of a relationship.
Stage 1: You do everything in your power to avoid farting around her.
Stage 2: You sometimes accidently fart around her, but then immediately apologize.
Stage 3: You are comfortable enough to fart around her. And she doesn't care.
Stage 4: You fart in bed, and then immediately pull the covers over her.
