even Leonidas would find the modern dating scene daunting and appalling

Interesting article. From a female point of view, I found myself divorced and single again, and the dating scene was so scary and rather sad. I hated it, but luckily was "fixed up" by a friend. I hope to never have to go through that single scene again!

Shower,
don't be so self absorbed,
don't stare at other women while you are on a date,
don't constantly talk about yourself,
don't forget your manners,
take a good look at yourself in the mirror and date within your species.
That's my advice... off the top of my head...

What's a gal supposed to do with that?. *chuckle* My suggestion - bring a book - maybe even a DVD player with a good movie. Or... bring your own car and RUN.

Hang in there!
HE was the jerk - there is nothing wrong with you.
You'll find someone else to date - more reliable and therefore, more lovable.
Hugs!

My first date didn't even bother to show up. So, my first experience was a horrible one.Anyone who stands up a first date is an ass. Cheer up! You got to find that out without meeting him. ;O)

Dashing Dasher brought this to my attention and so I am bringing to the attention of the Armada Room folks.
