Well, the seroma is just the collection of the clear liquid serum part of blood that sometimes develops where empty pockets are left. What really went wrong is the sutures inside one of the layers, I guess there's the skin layer, then a muscle fat layer, then the abdominal wall and they suture each separately, one of those layers gave way and it was herniating through the other layers... If I understand correctly.

I used to take mine to work with me and when things were slow I could clean and saddle soap it. Then I changed places where I work and the saddle went to a closet for a few years. Argh!

"If I have to get a new saddle, I told the saddle maker, I don't want any tooling:), it's so hard to clean." Amen! Mine is made of thick harness leather and it really soaks up the saddle soap. I think the Indians had the right idea, just sit on a blanket.......

Well I just got back from my ride, and it was fantastic. I'm now helping my trainer train that new appy. It makes me happy beacuse not two days ago, I ran into one of the snotty girls from the barn who was taking lessons on him and she was going on and on about how Kathy should be paying her to ride him and not the other way around. I don't know, I personally don't care if I'm riding a green horse in my lesson. I learn more that way and it makes things more interesting. So now I have to get down to the barn more often to ride him more... you won't have to twist my leg!

A few shots from the Home and Garden Show in Cleveland. We spent about 3 and half hours there. It got so crowded, you could hardly move through the aisles. I guess everyone is ready for Spring! I love the old fashion gardens with the rustic look.
A boatload of tulips.

Are you getting much snow?

When I was a kid we use to go these kinds of events every at least a couple they were always interesting and fun, you never know what else was on displayed too!

Gorgeous pictures!
I especially love that last one.
The boat reminds me of the one at Hair's wedding. *smile*

Wow, I just discovered the FR Saddle Club. Cool thread!
I love riding but my wife is the avid horseperson in the family. She's not much for online discussion but I may be able to draw her in for this. :-)

Question: I've seen some saddles with the seat suspended in a raised web. They look like they'd be a comfortable ride. Anyone have any experience with this kind of saddle? Any recommendations for a particular brand/model/style, etc.? (western)
Thx...

We'd welcome your wife on the thread!
I haven't seen the saddle you speak of, maybe someone else on the thread has, or if you know the brand name, maybe there's a website?
To: MississippiMan
Oh - and of course we'd welcome you as well!
Welcome to the saddle club, MississippiMan :~D

To: CindyDawg
Never mind. I could almost cry. I lost it all. The good thing is that now I'm back where I started. Sigh. Oh dear.
To: HairOfTheDog
That is beautiful. They got the idea off of you, I bet.
