Good night everyone. ((Everyone))
The idea of a trailer is a good one. We had a dear friend in the hospital for an extended (and, unfortunately, final) stay. Her husband would not leave the hospital at all ... for one thing, 'home' was an hour away. All knew and accepted that Sally would not be going home and Thomas wanted to be sure to be there at the end.
Some friends of theirs had one of those really plush motor homes and they parked it in the hospital parking lot, insisting that Thomas go there for showering, rest, and even some of his meals while other family members kept watch at the bedside. It was a real blessing for all because it kept the rest of the family from worrying quite as much about Thomas since he did take advantage of it.
That's really cute, lysie. I'm assuming you would have locks on it ... the kind you could lock from the outside that couldn't be unlocked from the inside ... ;-)
Have been missing your Dawn Patrol posts. Hope all is well with you. ***hugs***
I do have to admit being a cranky person for Halloween. I forgot to buy candy, so I went to dinner during the trick or treat time. Yum, went to Chili's and had the soup/salad dinner. Chicken enchilada soup and a caesar salad. It was excellent. The restaurant was not crowded so I just relaxed and ate my dinner and read 'The Rule of Four'. I have about 100 pages to go.
Then I came home and gathered things together for my cruise. I am determined to be all packed and ready to go a few days before I leave. That would be a first. :)
I can't imagine how stressful this is for your s-i-l and for your brother. They remain in my prayers constantly, along with Jacob, the unborn baby, and all your family!
I know. Thanks goodness we have the Lord in our corner. :) It makes all the difference to know that we can pray and cast our burdens on Him.
Can you imagine trying to deal with life's problems without the Lord? I can't and don't even want to think about it too hard. It's difficult enough with Him leading us through each day.
Exactly. I am so grateful for my faith.
I think I am off to bed. This Daylight Savings Time change confuses me every year. :)
Good morning!
UG.....Prayers continue for Jacob and your family.
Peach.....Praying that your brother is better.
Carolinamom and kassie.....Been missing you.
Toby! Was the shack delivered?????
Wow!
I keep thinking about your tank. How's it going?
Good morning, my dear friend.
Breakfast in bed today! How very thoughtful of you, lysie.
Good news, Toby! Your Shack is now officially in the BACK!
Fish now doing okay, Raven? Sure hope so.
Peach, many thoughts and prayers here for your brother, your mom, you, and all who love him. My brother had that thing about going through the leg to get to his heart...never understood this long way around. His heart had a hole in it, spent a month in the hospital, but it was repaired and he's fine now. Your brother should be too w/the fine medical care available now.
I've been having a fight w/myself and did not want to inflict the details on anyone else. The Lord and I are pulling for the better self to win this battle.
I understand. Prayers for you.
