How did get they get the sensor (receiver) INSIDE the helmet for reception testing?

It would have to be embedded in the center of the head when testing directional reception, wouldn't it?

Do you think in the interest of not being PC, they totally skipped the foil-highlighting crowd? I mean, given the fact that most of them are "going blond" anyway, shouldn't matter --but the gov't should've seen that coming too....hehehehehehe

Hell, my dad was foiling the antennaes on the radio and rabbit ears for years, prior to the great reception WE HAVE TO PAY FOR, thanks to the damn cable generation....

When our local cable company went on strike...(cable was a new thing then)....

I made an attenuator out of a pair of rabbit ears, a snow saucer and some aluminum foil.

I drilled a hole in the center of the saucer, put the rabbit ear whips through the hole, lined the saucer dish with aluminum, and pointed it south towards the broadcast centers in San Francisco...

Worked like a charm...
