This may be my most complicated cartoon yet. I was able to skewer several topics at once, rather than just one. I can't control myself!

As usual, if you want on the ping list, let me know.

Enjoy.

Good one about Paris Hilton. And anatomically accurate, too(as in see through girl thin)

I would give your Paris Hilton drawing the title "Empty Heiress with tremulous petit pooch" and send it to the MOMA. Please add me to your ping list. Excellent drawing.

Thanks, and welcome aboard.

And, if you'll pardon my ignorance, what exactly is the MOMA?

Sorry. The MOMA is Museum of Modern Art in NYC.

I looked at your homepage and your drawing of Clinton. Excellent. You have much talent and I hope you will immerse yourself in drawing and art (of course, only if you love it).

I love art and drawing but considering that art is so darned addictive, I spend my time on the thing I love most...writing fiction.

I am trying to put one of my drawings on my homepage. Will let you know when I succeed.

Best of luck. Give 'em hell!

Oh, nevermind my freepmail! I guessed correctly.

Good job, P., as always.

Actually, I like writing fiction too. In fact, my FReeptoons here are actually sort of a hybrid here, of writing and cartooning. That's why I don't draw the usual single panel-style political cartoons that have labels all over them and deliver their messages with sledgehammers. I like to tell a consistent story.

I love drawing, too, though, and I hadn't drawn in a long time since college (I used to doodle in class all the time). I took up drawing toons here so I could start drawing often again.

Check the drawing on my homepage. I think I was successful in using photobucket.

Hey, wow, that's real good. You're talented.

Personally, I'm not real good at that kind of realism. I'm just better at cartooning. I have drawn some attempts at realist art, but even those have a little cartoonishness to them.

Thx for your gracious comments. I actually prefer abstract art, but I was focused on Churchill at the time because of the threat of Islam. There are many people who are so broad in their interests that they can focus on many things at once. I am NOT one of them. Instead of panorama...I am a laser.

Of course, God never makes mistakes and gives each person his gifts.

Best of luck with your talent. Find the heart of it and follow it maniacally and you will be happy and fulfilled. Once you decide, never allow your hope to falter ("O'God, I trust in Thee...that kind of thing).

Great things await you.

"I actually prefer abstract art"

Do you have any samples of that?

That's the great thing about the internet. There is an art professor (I am on her ping list, I hope) who posts on FR. Her FR name is "Republicanprofessor" and she is quite remarkable...incredible insight into art and a powerful writer (I am copying her on this post). But Google Picasso, Braque, Jackson Pollack, Matisse, Van Gogh, and all the moderns...I will dig up some other names...one of my faves is Mark Rothko (I have a reproduction in my study...gives me much inspiration). And do a search for "Republicanprofessor"...reading her posts is like a grad course in whatever she posts on.
