OK, so who's the dippy broad with the message T-shirt? Jessica Simpson doesn't look to bad. The low-cut backs are the fashion these days. Better than fronts cut that low, in my opinion.

I'm just not interested in what Nashville is putting out these days and I'm even less interested in pop music.

This being a holiday week, I'm able to post online at the office for a short while today. I'll be leaving soon (it's 5:15pm here) and will get back on the thread when I get home.
The AMA show doesn't start until 8:00pm so I can find out the results here long before the show is on here.

I like threads like this because it gives me an opportunity to express my contempt for pop culture. I really can't find any redeeming qualities in modern music.

So it will be interesting to see next week's charts. Actually, I've sort of gotten into this thing of watching the charts more than I have of most of the music these people sing. I think it's because I've always been a sports fan. [snicker]

Well, Jonny. Thanks for the thread. I'll catch up in about an hour and a half, shortly after I get home from the office.
BTW, I signed up for DSL service today. So as soon as the new PC is set up and the DSL service is installed, I'll be good to go again. The old beast can then retire to a well-deserved rest.

I was just at a dentist office and read an interview with Madonna in Ladies Home Journal. It was about marriage and I've got to tell you, the things she said were, (Oh God, I hate to say this,) beautiful. About what marriage is really about and the meaning of it all. She admitted her marriage to Penn was not about any of the important things and that she was selfish and would have no compromise. It was surprising. I still hate her though.

The rumor has been around for the past year, but...
It seems Mrs. Rob Thomas stumbled on her hubby and Tom Cruise having 'relations'. She threatened to go to the press, but Cruise's people paid her a hefty sum to keep quiet. In the meantime, to quell any rumors that may leak, Cruise's people needed another woman to make Tom look straight. Flavor of the month: Katie Holmes.
