VICTORY IN GEORGIA, LINCOLN COUNTY WINS AGAIN
U S ARMY EOD

Posted on 12/03/2005 12:26:49 AM PST by U S Army EOD

Once again the Red Devils of Lincoln County, Georgia have gone to victory in another state championship. Freeper U S ARMY EOD is proud of his team. Lincoln County won over their arch rivals, Wilkes County by the score of 25-0. It is unusual to have over 7000 people at a highschool football game, especially unusual when you really don't have many more than that living in the entire county. Normally this would not be the place to post but please look at the links and study the history of the school and the team. It is different. I had the honor to play on the first State Championship team back in 1961. Also check out the history of Coach Larry Campbell who is nationally ranked. Not bad for a small town in Georgia. Please look through all of this and enjoy.

Click on everything to move around and get the history. Visit Lincoln County and go by the football field sometime, it is worth seeing. That is, unless you have to play us.

Please all enjoy and thank you for looking.
