Not much in black or red, except one maternity outfit that I'm currently too big for, and my once-ever-five-years Knights of Columbus formal dress (black with gold trim).
I'm 39, so I can't tell you when you outgrow Mom's dressing you ... maybe not as long as your mother is alive :-). My mother's right about my hair, usually.

Show up at the supper table wearing an outfit from Fredericks of Hollywood one night.
That'll stun 'em into silence....;D

To: Larry Lucido
Well, that's true - but mostly your under-things.

Somebody getting "euphorically" starved to death in the end? Well Million Dollar Baby got the award because of its assisted suicide (murder) last year. Not quite starving to death, but the same principle.

If only we could work beached whales and global warming into the plot-line, somehow.....

If only we could work beached whales and global warming into the plot-line, somehow..... I think we are on to something......Because of massive global warming, whales begin to beach themselves and in order to save the whales, gay oceanographers assist each other in suicide to gain support for their cause. Damn, I think we would sweep the Oscars with that one.

You dress like my mother? It's not impossible ...

For your daughters' sake, I pray you dress better than she.
Actually - there is no possible way... unless...do you buy purple polyester stretch pants from Kmart?

NEVER! No woman who weighs more than 40 lbs. should wear stretch pants!
I wear Fundamentalist Frump Frocks - except late in pregnancy, when I wear giant sweatsuits or the Dress That Makes Me Look Like an Eggplant. Sigh. Only six more weeks of pregnancy, give or take ...

You sound beautiful!
Eggplant is a lovely color.
When are you due? How are you feeling?

Baby's due the end of January, and I'm feeling as well as can be expected, almost-40 in my 10th pregnancy! A few aches and pains, lumbering like a penguin (or an eggplant ...). Thanks for asking!
I do have some Tasteful Clothes, gifts from my mom, OldTax-lady, which I can usually wear for 3-4 months between losing the weight from one pregnancy and gaining for the next one. Fortunately, my oldest daughter is almost as tall as I am, so she can wear my Good Clothes for me!

Thanks! I think the problem is that I lose all the weight after the babies are born, and as soon as I'm 115 again, whoops! there's another. Maybe I'll just stay Extra Large this time :-).
