And now I think I'm going to leave. Because one my first post I was called a troll, and told by a poster I made them sick. Then some dink corrected my grammar. Are the rest of you nice?

What's so anonymous about it?
Just think of FR as a sort of pressure valve. You can unload almost anything here and get away with it (there are a few rules about language and name calling but otherwise the gloves are off). And like the man said you are anonymous. And sometimes you can even learn things.
If you're the sensitive sort, take a breather now, before you faint!
Calling people out like you did in your very first post to this forum is not a way to make friends on this site. As for the other comments made in response to yours, they were accurate.
The original post you did was simply not original. It was juvenile (as pointed out by others). As for me, I question the intelligence of anyone who uses Lew Rockwell as a source of information.
I think it's just indicative of the quality of the board. I think the posters should be able to handle an articles criticizing conservative positions. Conservatives don't have to agree on everything.
If you are a conservative, you will be fine and you will get used to it.
Most people are under the impression that just because we call ourselves conservatives, means that we agree on every issue. That's not true.
Stay tough, stay in the fight. Only liberals cut and run- so you will be fine as long as you stay in the fight.

Well yer just havin' a great day huh kiddo? Sorry to hear it. The rest of us are somewhat nice, we don't bite but we may nibble a bit.
Some people are just jerks. Just ignore the twits and focus on the ones who will engage in serious discussion with you. Over time you learn who to just ignore. Or you can just read for a little while until you get the hang of where to go and which people/topics to avoid. Some of the discussions get a little tough on some topics like Immigration or Evolution. Good Luck!
Listen & read for a good long while to learn the ropes.
DETAILS are important around here. Proper spelling and grammar are respected and are a sign that the writer has a well thought out and reasoned perspective.
Get a thicker skin. Enjoy FR as the most influential site on the WWW.

I'm sorry that some posters were impolite towards you. There are some folks on here who get very ornery around newbies. Some advice: don't make your first post ever on FR be a thread you started. Don't start a thread the first day you join. Spend some time on the site, respond to others' threads first, and then post your own. Newbies starting threads their first day rubs some folks the wrong way. Doesn't bother me but others don't care for it.
Part of the problem is that we get trolls all the time who sign up to post some drivel and start flame wars. It's easy to spot such trolls because they've signed up the same day they posted and they haven't posted anything else but one inflammatory thread. Considering that you started a thread on the same day you joined many might have mistook you for a troll.
Ignore those a$$wads. Everyone is brave enough to be a jerk on the internet. For the most part people are happy to listen to everyones views. And I enjoy FR even though there are racists, sexists and homophobic Freepers. I have been hit for double posting, not formatting correctly and bad grammar. I will not be deterred, I will be heard.
