ON THIS WEBSITE, YOU WILL FIND THE KWANZAA CELEBRATIONS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
Kwanzaa is celebrated by many families and communities from December 26, 2005-January 1, 2006. For more information on organizing a Kwanzaa Celebration for your family or community, go to the OFFICIAL KWANZAA WEBSITE =========================================================================
There was shocking and heartbreaking news for those planning to attend the Kwanzaa Parade in Los Angeles. Former Los Angeles resident and businessman Stanley Tookie Williams, who had lived in San Francisco for the past 24 years, had recently been chosen "King of Kwanzaa" for the Los Angeles Parade. He had told friends that he was looking forward to the parade and considered it a great honor.
Williams had already purchased a brand new tuxedo at the Men's Warehouse after hearing George Zimmer's commercials telling him how good him would look and that Zimmer guaranteed it.
Three nights ago, Williams was found dead on a gurney in the early morning hours. Preliminary reports indicate that he died of a massive dose of some chemicals that had been introduced into his bloodstream with a hypodermic needle. Several witnesses have told the police that the injection was not self-administered.
Williams, a Nobel Peace Prize nominee, as well as a nominee for the Nobel Prize in Literature, was the author of an autobiography as well as nine wonderful and inspiring children's books. During one of the series of shows featuring Williams on KFI in Los Angeles, talk show hosts John and Ken read one of the books on the air. Jamie Foxx, who had starred in a movie based on Williams' life, broke down after learning of the death of his friend.
Kwanzaa officials are scrambling to choose a new King. Exclusive to FreeRepublic, inside sources have also been privately working on a plan to pull off a "Weekend at Bernie's" deal for the parade, but they do not know if they can maintain the body in a natural enough state until parade time. We have been told that they have been experimenting with dry ice, and we will provide updates from our sources as we receive them.
"Which leads to a very interesting question regarding Kwanzaa gifting: what do you give to a Crip who has everything?"
A fresh box of ammo for his favorite piece.
Very good! (wink)
But what the hey; I did get a laugh.
Not a good idea! LOL!
King is a thug. I am not happy that he is on our side.
Glad to see you're around and kickin'!
---King is a thug.---
King is old and mellow like that gangster in the Dirty Harry movie. He's a genuine American character though.
he is definitely a character
Anyone else wonder how upset the MSM will be if they don't get their riot?
I can't find copies on Amazon or Ebay so it must be treasured by those who have it. I did find Travis McGee's book at Amazon (2) and Jeff Heads Dragon's Fury (4)(all different ones) at Ebay
Thanks! Me too! Will have updates soon!
If their coverage of late is any indication, they are upset indeed. They wanted the Christmas season marred by the race riots they were trying to foment with their All-Tookie/All-Riot rantings.
You can only imagine their angst when these white Liberals went into the heart of South Central and tried to whip up the locals into a "kill whitey for killing Tookie" frenzy. The overwhelming response from the average person on the street was, "Tookie was a gangster punk. He's finally getting what's coming to him." Oh...the Leftist media pain over that slap in their collective faces was a thing of beauty to behold.
Yes..I agree, King is seedy but so is Mcvain, IMO..lol! I don't trust mcVain within an inch of my life.
I think the new "King" of Kwanzaa should be Fairykhan. He can take all the freakish leftish followers up in the mother ship and crash it.
Very funny.
It reminded me of a video of George Zimmer (Men's Warehouse) teaching ebonics.
It's great. But don't go there if you are easily offended.

Excellent!
LOL!
Once again, the haiku in honor of those who chose Tookie to be Ooba (or whatever it was) for their parade:
Jesse, Lou, and Snoop
On King Tookie's Kwanzaa float
Weekend at Bernie's.
I had a website for it. If you want one, send me a FReepmail.
LOL! "Weekend at Bernie's" is playing on cable right now! Oh man!!
One of my all-time favorite movies. Let's see if I can incorporate that into some sort of holiday Kwanzaa song to a Christmas tune. If not, perhaps I could do Barry Manilow's WEEKEND IN NEW ENGLAND.
