Yep and this screwup wouldnt have happened if they would have admitted their mistake a week earlier in the Tampa/Redskins game. Thats what happened, Parerra's ecxplanation of the Tampa
TD incomplete is what caused this whole mess. When I saw the play at first before it went to slow motion I thought it was a interception then a fumble, but after slow motion and applying
Pareeras explanation from the week prior, I knew the ref was going to say incomplete. They need to change the way replay is done it shouldnt be done by a ref on the field looking into a little box, it should be done either up in the box, or back at
headquarters, with the head official signing off on all calls.
With the technology we have these days this could be done.

My husband and I were going nuts! If Troy had just stayed down after his roll, it would have been an int. Plain and simple. How it could be ruled incomplete after he caught it, had possession and started to move is still puzzling. ............... Of course, after Peyton was sacked and we were trying to punch it in, I was saying to my hubby how I felt bad for Coach Dungee. Then the Bus fumbled and my hubby blamed it on me for feeling bad for them (mimicking me in a girly voice). LOL!! I recanted my feeling bad for them and after they missed the FG and we won (the game safely over), I stated that I could once again feel bad for Dungee. It was all so crazy...................... how's this?:
****
I cant take the heavy duty, heart pounding drama again this coming Sunday. Last weeks game in Indy was just too hard to take......... almost killed a lot of us. So here's a possible solution.
About 9:00 a.m. Sunday morning before the Denver game, Im going to call my buddy in Sydney, Australia. It will be 1:00 a.m. Monday there, he will already know how the game came out ................ voila, he can tell me who won. Save a lot of heart attacks. What do you think?

Sounds good. I hope he can tell us the results before the betting pools close. ;) I think I heard on the news for a lead in story that someone may have actually had a heart attack when Jerome fumbled. I didn't watch the story though, so I don't know for sure.

You can find a Steeler bar in just about every NFL city. I flew into LAX on 12/24/05 and immediately hightailed it to Gabe's Bar and Grill (2965 S. Sepulveda) in time for the opening kickoff against the Browns.
Gabe's is listed as among the Steeler Nation bars around the country that have become congregation points for Steeler fans (most of whom are decked out in team jerseys) who are there to view the Gold & Black games on big screen TV.
IMO, it is more fun watching the game with like-minded fans in a bar than being in the stands.
BTW, Gabe's has dropped their grill, and they don't serve draft beer. But it has a great Steeler vibe.

FOR THE RECORD Here are the attendance numbers for the stellers, as you will see, HARDLY a tough ticket. http://www.kenn.com/sports/football/nfl/nfl_pit_attendance.html
To: maineman
That's attendance, not sales.
ALL of those games were sold out.

Bold ALLCAPS do not in themselves make anything more true. Do you know the difference between buying a ticket and going to the game?
When talking about sellouts, attendance is irrelevant. In the extreme, if no one at all shows up, but all tickets are sold, it's still a sellout.

As they say about some folks on the left side of politics, It's not the things they honestly don't know that is troubling, it is instead those things that they do "know," that are also entirely untrue, that is the problem.

Three River Stadium(1968-2000)Seating Capacity: Steelers 59000 BTW. I have no idea where you got your information, but Three Rivers Stadium didn't exist in 1968 --- The Steelers played in Pitt Stadium then. Their 1st game at Three Rivers was in 1970 with a raw rookie named Bradshaw sharing QB duties with a hometown favorite out of Notre Dame named Terry Hanratty --- I was there.
I bought my season tickets (2) in 1971. Guess what they cost then?
$7.15 per game, $50 for all seven regular season games!!! (They didn't even make you buy pre-season tickets then.)
Things sure have changed.
