I just thought I'd let my fellow freepers know that their favorite movie, Brokeback Mountain, just won Best Picture at the Golden Globes. My gf tells me when they accepted the award, they were "stunned!"

Watching Lincoln on the History Channel right now and I've just been informed by no less an authority on the lives of great people than Gore Vidal that Lincoln was Gay as well. /sarc

Well, of course they won. They'll sweep the Oscars too. Just like The Passion of the Christ DIDN'T! Nothing unexpected here. Hollyweird choose a bad movie (according to a co-worker) simply because it doesn't represent conservative values and pushes the homosexual agenda.

Maybe it's a different kind of film (I really know nothing about this stuff) but it wasn't even in the top 10 in the box office the past two weeks according to my USA Today. Is the movie selling well?
