I wonder if he read this to them over the phone. Byrd and Lieberman's votes aren't a surprise, considering their home states. Most of the votes on the Rat side will be election year positioning.

By the way, Senator Kerry...since you lost the election in 2004 you don't get to have a choice in who gets nominated. All you can do is make sure that he is qualified, such as whether he has committed crimes, is morally unfit for the job, or physically unfit for the job. It is not your place to determine whether he thinks like you (which would disqualify him immediately) but whether he is rational, intelligent, and capable of performing the task for which he is assigned.
