"It's so dismissive! "I'm not going to see [insert movie name here] because the director/star/guy who gets the donuts is a lib. "
I hear ya. But that's not what I was doing at all. I opened with "He's a B-rate actor..." because I honestly don't think much of his talent. Pointing out the anti-gun stance was an afterthought (although I can see how one might construe it as you did).

The 6:00pm weekday run on SciFi Channel is in Season Six.
The Monday night 8-11pm three hour block of SG-1 is in early Season One. (The 12th, 13th, & 14th Episodes of the series air next Monday.)
The Friday night new episodes are in the middle of Season Nine.

Thanks GreenLanternCorps that gives me some grounding as to where I am in the series.

Come on! I'll bet you couldn't fashion a small nuclear warhead from a wad of used gum, a tampon, and an old accordian....

Who needs an actress. I don't want her faking it.
To: Wurlitzer
You're welcome. I just got hooked on SG-1 myself. I bought the Season One DVD's and am slowly working my way through them. I've also been reading way too much SG-1 fan fiction on the web... (Cuts into my freeping time, don't tell JimRob...)

correct.....I would have needed some YELLOW CAKE too....

Given that he's been slinging around an H&K MP5 and some other really fun looking hardware on SG1 for the last ten years, maybe he's changed his tune...They have P90's in the later episodes, not sure if they switched from MP5's at some past season, I'd have to find a Season 1 DVD to confirm.

That is one of my favorite episodes. I hate what they have done so much I am watching it from the beginning instead of watching the new shows.

I THINK she is married, and she was out at the beginning of the season on maternity leave.

Yes, Amanda Tapping did miss several episodes due to maternity leave.
In the SG-1 universe Samantha Carter was working at Area 51.
(I am reading and watching way to much of this show!)
To: mvpel
I think they went to the P90s in Season 3 or 4. Before that it was H&Ks. I never really liked the new guns.
If I were in charge, though, I would get them someting with a bit more stopping power. 20 shots on target to put down one Jaffa is just too many!

Thanks for the ping! SG-1 Season 9 is a little duller without Anderson. He's probably a left wing whacko but, heck, I just like to look at him; I don't have to try to carry on a conversation with him - thank goodness. I still like the Free Jaffa and all their troubles in working out their new nation. And I'm really enjoying Atlantis' second season - lots of action and effects.

Just watched Atlantis "Grace Under Pressure" episode. My husband and I were ROTFLOAO from some of the lines between McKay and Carter. She needs to show up for real a few times...

McKay is so great on Atlantis! And "Grace Under Pressure" showed him at his best (nuttiest?) with his interaction with Carter.
