Kurt Busch Resolves Arizona Traffic Incident: #2-Kurt Busch appeared in Aqua Fria Justice Court today and agreed to the terms proposed by the Maricopa County [Arizona] Attorney's Office and approved by the Court regarding a traffic incident that occurred on Nov. 11, 2005. "I am pleased to have this incident behind me," Busch said. "I have learned many lessons from the situation and one of them is that speeding should be saved for the race track. I am excited for the 2006 race season to begin and look forward to the racing activities at Daytona this week." Busch took responsibility for excessive speed, as well as citations for passing in a no passing zone and following another vehicle too closely. As part of the resolution, Busch will perform community service, which will be determined in the near future.(Penske Racing PR)(2-8-2006)

Let's see who can guess why he looks different this year!

"""""If the time comes when Dale Earnhardt, Jr. takes the black number three to the track, it won’t be for some publicity stunt or marketing ploy. Nor will it be before Dale, Jr. thinks the time is right. It will be done with great consideration and out of pure respect for a man who, though larger than life, was just a good old down home racer. I respect that. If the “3” never takes to the track again, I’ll respect that too. After all, I have enough remarkable memories of that car and the man who drove it to last me a lifetime.""""""

There is just something sexy about 8,000 horsepower flying down a dragstrip.

If all goes as planned, I will be at Englishtown and Maple Grove this year.

I *think* the limit is 50 participants per group, and my current count is 41. Retrieve the group ID and password from the 'Off-Season Therapy' thread.

Do you know which post it is because there are 1100 posts?

Looks like you found it. Icecold's thread is over here

In any case, the ID number is 2393 and the password is pitstop.

If anyone's around ESPN is showing media day interviews from Daytona. Smoke is up now. Jeff and Shrub were just on.

The show is called The Hot List.

Thanks for the heads-up.

I'm still working on my 2006 predictions (not that my 2005 ones were so great, but what the heck :-)

Flash said........

They're asking him about his humbling year.
He says it's all media driven and he recognizes how competitive the sport is. He respects the competition. We're gonna have bad years and good years. Needs to be more prepared and more fired up. The media put criticism on himself and Dale Jr. He said he's lucky he missed the Chase the same year as Jr so he wasn't alone.

What's it like being on the inside looking in.

It wasn't fun, we just didn't have the right stuff. I don't want to just be in the Chase I want to go for the championship.
