Great scene. I liked Edgar. I wanted the fatboy to die. Wonder if he made it.

Ooops, by fatboy I mean the one that took out as head of CTU, the one whose sister just got shot.

They had to kill Edgar, he was physically more obese than last year and he bought a Mac.
With the rising costs of health insurance, that cast member had to go.

Jack Bauer doesn't sleep. He merely waits. Guess he picked a bad time to give up crystal meth.

That character is back next week judging by the promos. My guess is he is the one who will sacrifice his life to save the others from the gas. That was one jaw-dropping episode(s) tonight!

I agree with you... it will be fatboy who will take the fall next week. Damn shame about Edgar!! I always liked his character. The show will change forever now, but that's why we watch it.... it's a great show!!

I had a church meeting tonight, my husband "played sick" and stayed home......I got home at 8:40, I had forgotten that this was a 2-hour show tonight so I missed a lot of it. Dang.

I love the show, although it is hard to stomach the enormous plot holes. The payoff is worth it though!

If I had known you were a 24phile I would have gave you a heads up.
FOX will probably re-run both episodes Friday.
I only took a phone call during 24 because I can pause the show with my DVR.
Good night I must be getting some shut eye now.

Glad nobody called me. I'm not sure if I would have answered the phone even though I'm on Mama medical watch duty.

The look on Chloe's face was priceless. Just proves the best acting is in the face, not the voice.

I love the show, although it is hard to stomach the enormous plot holes. I'm in the same boat. Whatever you do, wait till the last second before you put the nerve gas canister in the containment box!

Yes, I'm not sure why the containment box couldn't have been brought a little closer to the canister.
Or, hell, why not a big ziploc baggie?
To: over3Owithabrain
What about the fact that the terrorist can just waltz right into CTU using the stolen, but altered id card and their high tech security doesn't register that he used the card earlier in the day to get there and nothing happens.
I always like in every season there is something important that happens and they don't consider it a priority. Duh, a problem with the ventilation might be a red flag. Why didn't they have a gas mask for each person when the threat is nerve gas this time?
The show is exciting all the same.
To: I Drive Too Fast
"a problem with the ventilation might be a red flag."
Why don't they turn off the fans/ventilation when they suspect that a building has been targeted with chemical weapons? They didn't do it in the L.A. hotel in Season 3 that got gassed and they never bothered to turn off the fans in the hospital and CTU in the last episode even when they knew there were hostiles in the buildings. Time to implement a CTU protocol to shut off the fans.

I know I"m late to the party, but just watched our TIVO'd 24 last night. Yes, in shock about Edgar...there's one person in this show who makes me want to wretch...and that's AUDREY. Does anyone notice that she never has a scene where does do one of three things:
1) Fold her arms.
2) Put on her glasses
3) Take off her glasses.
WHY COULDN'T HEY HAVE KILLED HER OFF??????
