Actually she was well-known and happened to be a nominal Catholic. I suspected as much. Nobody is well-known for their Catholic beliefs. Even the Pope is not known for his beliefs, but for his position.

The whole scientology cult frightens me, Q.
To: Quilla
The cults creator, sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, once said: Maintain silence in the presence of birth to save both the sanity of the mother and child. Anybody care to wager on whether L. Ron Hubbard has ever given birth?

To: Quilla
They think it can cause psychic damage, which takes years of therapy to overcome. Mrs. Cruise must have screamed a lot.

I predict Katie will rip those signs to shreds after a couple hours of labor
My husband and the anaethetist were talking about sports during one of my contractions ..... I said "WILL YOU SHUT UP!" to them and my voice sounded just like SATAN. So, you just might be right

Cruise is 43 and wifey is 26.
They both got what they wanted.
He got a trophy wife to breed.
She married money, fame and status.
This is such old, boring news, if it weren't for the scientology angle. That makes it:
Cruise will change "religions" more than once before we see the last of him. He'll change wives too. He's just an ordinary, run-of-the-mill, everyday part of the Sleazywood life-style.

Talk about cruel and sick. What mother could be silent around her newborn? What mother doesn't want to cuddle her baby and coo to her precious infant? This is just bizarre.Unless the infant is deaf, he already knows the sound of his parents' voices. Babies hear inside the womb -- I would think it would be more upsetting to endure complete silence than to hear something familiar.
The day our grandson was born, he kept turning toward our son's voice whenever he heard it. Our son had been talking to him throughout his wife's pregnancy.

I agree. Babies brains grow when cortisol courses through it in correct ways, usually by give and take between the baby and its primary caregiver. How is not speaking to this baby going to help its mental development?

Followers believe it is traumatic for babies to hear their mother scream or groan when giving birth. They think it can cause psychic damage, which takes years of therapy to overcome. Oh, so that's what happended to Tom.

The cults creator, sci-fi writer L. Ron Hubbard, once said: Maintain silence in the presence of birth to save both the sanity of the mother and child. Clearly Hubbard has never been in labor. Sounds more like keeping the sanity of the father, and nothing to do with mother and child.

I would think it would be more upsetting to endure complete silence than to hear something familiar. You are absolutely right.
To: Mo1
No screaming during childbirth? No painkillers? No making sure the baby is healthy? This is not just a "fruity little club" this is a sadistic cult.

Maybe she can hold onto Toms testicles while in labor. "Tom, Tom, remember to keep silent!"

Tom Cruise; The Michael Jackson of the `00`s. It`s going to be lovely to see how far this idiots career falls when he dumps her after this.
