Crazy Cat Terrorizes Connecticut Town
FAIRFIELD, Conn. - Residents of the neighborhood of Sunset Circle say they have been terrorized by a crazy cat named Lewis. Lewis for his part has been uniquely cited, personally issued a restraining order by the town's animal control officer.
"He looks like Felix the Cat and has six toes on each foot, each with a long claw," Janet Kettman, a neighbor said Monday. "They are formidable weapons."
The neighbors said those weapons, along with catlike stealth, have allowed Lewis to attack at least a half dozen people and ambush the Avon lady as she was getting out of her car.
Some of those who were bitten and scratched ended up seeking treatment at area hospitals.
Animal Control Officer Rachel Solveira placed a restraining order on him. It was the first time such an action was taken against a cat in Fairfield.
In effect, Lewis is under house arrest, forbidden to leave his home.
Solveira also arrested the cat's owner, Ruth Cisero, charging her with failing to comply with the restraining order and reckless endangerment.
This is NOT my "crazy cat" expression!
maybe CT new motto should be "he who transplanted, should run from killer cat"
I quite agree.
OMG, is that a real bird?
Looks like Finbar finally captured that tail he's been chasing!
Not any more.
That's endangered wildlife if ever I've seen it.
Eeeeeeew! Did Edgrr kill it, or did he find it dead and just tote it inside?
Dennis dragged in a bird one time - a big damn thing, about half his size. It was still flappin'. Xena's Guy got it away from him, and I think it got chucked over the back fence. But I could be wrong.
I also have to know where its head went.
My cat always eats the head first. Including the beak. THAT can't feel good coming out....no wonder cats are grumpy.
Man oh MAN, is that ever a horrible visual!
You should post a shaved picture. She's stylin' with her buzzcut!
Oh yes, he's quite fierce.
The doves are easy prey, they'll land right in the yard.
The one he has there is a bluejay who was dive-bombing Edgrr.
He disapproves of dive-bombing.
Wasn't allowed to?! 'Ee's the bloody Pope, 'ee is!
Thank You, for the reply. I also got a real email reply from Greta. it made my day. Yeah, a lot more serious are going in the world, it is nice to have something light hearted on the radar screen. Although, it is serious for this owner, and Lewis.
Let's march and demand amnesty for crazy cats everywhere....we can all hold up IAMS flags.....
Ditto .......... the cat is cool.
Silly! Cats belong outside. Get real!
I've had cats for 35 years at my house. They're outdoors on our acreage most of the time. They get their original shots...... and NOTHING else. They all live over 20 years.
People who keep animals inside better have a good reason........ because it is not natural.
Btw............. cantaloupe and steamed carrots in their food are a secret ingredient to their long age.
True but I don't have any good pictures of her yet with her new doo. I'll fix that.
