Testifying against his father, Leon Slack whipped a piece of electrical cord across a bed frame in the courtroom. The cord, he said, was like the one his father used to beat Slack's sister to death.
Jurors watched as Slack repeatedly slapped the cord, demonstrating how he said his father struck his sister more than 100 times after she was tied to the same frame in November 2001.
Laree Slack had screamed out, her brother said, but their father, Larry Slack, stuck a towel in her mouth to muffle her.

They should execute him by beating him to death with an electrical cord.
What kind of animal could beat his child and listen to the screams and not come to his senses.

Growing up in that church, I personally know that the daughter was discouraged from taking it to the police.
I'm not entirely sure how someone can be beat to death with an electrical cord. I'm not saying he didn't beat her with the cord, and I'm not saying he didn't kill her... I'm just not sure an electrical cord can cause the kind of internal injuries that must have been present. Can it??
Internal trauma due to the bruising of connective tissue. Also, undergoing that amount of shock, you tend to breathe heavily. The girl was gagged. Same stuff happened to me when I was a kid. Took it to the church elders. Told me that I was just not "accepting diciplane".
I'm just suspecting he did more than beat her with an electrical cord. What a hideous childhood you must have had! How does one get over something like that?!
Therapy. Lots of it.
