Commander in Chief has been pulled by ABC. I can't believe that they did this.
I can't believe you posted this.
"And away goes trouble down the drain!"
Ho hum. Never watched a second of it.
IF.......if it's important to have a show as propaganda to show how Hillary or any woman can be president, why would ABC cancel it? Does anybody know if it's gone for good, or could it come back next fall?
I can't believe you missed the other 500 threads discussing this subject.
Crap show; good riddance.
What took it THIS LONG?
Old women like Gina Davis have a hard time making a show go when it is left to talent and not their former youthful looks.
So......if the purpose of the show was to show how wonderful it would be to have Hillary as president, does the failure of the show mean people won't want Hillary?
I will bear my sorrow with manly fortitude.
"...What took it THIS LONG?..."
Liberal denial dies hard.
We'll wait for them to issue all the episodes on DVD. Wonder how well that will sell. I bet Hillary was hoping that it would be a big hit show, and would be in its 3rd or 4th season in 2008 as she was running for president. Oh well, maybe Hillary's other plans won't work out either.
Because it wasn't making enough money. The same for every cancellation. Ideology has *nothing* to do with it. If Fox News thought they could make more money running programs hosted by Michael Moore & Al Franken they would.

Could have just been a crappy show on a crappy network. I wouldn't know, though.
I'm all broken up.

You mean poor OLD hillary isn't going to last as pres??????
Couldn't think of a better show than to put down the toilet, to bad hillary can't go with it....
Yeah, yeah. Now shut-up and make me a ham sandwich.
(On last week's show) when the pres (Geena Davis) asks her black chief-of-staff why he's a Republican (she notes that very few Republicans come from the DC neighborhood where he grew up), he explains that the GOP is "the party of Lincoln" and that the GOP stands for the values his mother taught him.
I don't think I've ever seen on any show the GOP being defended so well by a black man.
In other words, I don't think the show was so bad, and I'd like to see it continue.
Didn't they pull the show some time ago? They reworked the formula, keeping Gina Davis, then did a huge promo and tried it again ... with no success. Always thought Gina Davis was miscast ... she looks like a hooker after a rough night.
