Why the heck is this kid a flight risk? He NEEDS the PROTECTION of his parents along with the hugs. He would flee to somewhere they are not??....for the rest of his life???

I have a feeling that there is something VERY cynical behind this and it has to do with WHO his parents are and their political affiliations.

Reply to Nifong about alibis: Yes we are going to mount an alibi defense but since we don't know your timeline we can't tell you what it would be. Please give us your timeline and we will tell you our alibi. Thankyou Mr. Nithong

Hey, I've been around here since 98. How about getting a screen name that won't confuse other posters?

He is from NY
It seems like a sweet kid a very young 18 year old, his father went to Duke as well.
His father is very upset that Nifong has not drop the case yet.
He said his son has been put through the ringer, blacks have treated him poorly saying you know something you should tell what you know.
Both father and son are very supportive of the 3 boys

I seriously doubt he was any more likely to know her than anyone else there. Completely different type. Even thinking about her makes me ill.

I wish I never wrote that because I'm sure the kid doesn't
hang around with those type of people. Just looking at a statistical possibility.

Sac here is the Kroger 911 call trnscript 911 OPERATOR: Durham 911. What is your emergency? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Yes. I`m at Hillsborough Road at the Kroger`s store. I`m the security guard. 911 OPERATOR: OK, what is the phone number you`re calling from? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: It`s 383-2249 911 OPERATOR: And what`s the problem? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: The problem is there`s a lady in somebody else`s car, and she will not get out of the car. She`s, like -- she`s, like, intoxicated, drunk or something. She -- I mean, she won`t get out of the car, period. 911 OPERATOR: What kind of car is she in? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: What kind of car you have? It`s a Honda Accord. 911 OPERATOR: What color? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Navy blue, but it looks black at night. 911 OPERATOR: Does she have any weapons or anything? UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Does she have any what? 911 OPERATOR: Weapons or anything? There ain't no way she was raped — ain't no way, no way that happened," the guard purportedly tells a private investigator in the recording, ABC News reported. The guard had called 911, after which police found the alleged victim at a grocery store parking lot, where the guard was working. The guard said the driver (the other stripper Kim) said she picked up the alleged victim, whom she had never met, after hearing people yell racial slurs at her as she was walking down the street, ABC News reported. The guard further says on the tape that she smelled alcohol on the driver , but not the alleged victim, and that the alleged victim was unable to talk, ABC News said.

Gotcha. Seriously, the likelihood of any Duke student hanging out with any Durhamite is small.

Now I'll get blasted by the "Dukies are snotty elitest" crowd BUT when you are from out of town and move into a campus, especially one surrounded by a forest on many sides, you don't tend to meet and make friends with random people in the area. You meet and make friends with people in the library, in your dorm, at dinner, at the CI, at frat parties, in class. Barring this one party, I doubt Crystal had been invited to others.

The female guard is talking to a female dispatcher. Says she won't get out of the car which means she wasn't out cold at that point. No talk of rape at this time. What's 10-56?

The guard smelled alcohol on Kim's breath.

From what the Officer said, he smelled it on Crystal's breath. The Officer says: "She's just passed out drunk".

Looks like the Escort Service sent his leftovers to the boys.

Thank you much...Sounds like a plea against drunkedness or drug charge. Wonder how many times she's pleaded that or went to a hospital instead of lockup?
