"According to the motion, the woman may have wavered during her initial meeting with police about whether or not she was assaulted.

A handwritten narrative report by Sgt. J.C. Shelton that is attached to the motion alleges that the accuser first reported being raped after officers had decided to involuntary commit her."

Yeah, INvoluntary committment, you think maybe the straight Jacket or whatever restraint could account for her behavior later at Duke that was characterized by a Nurse In-training as traumatized.

Also, one reading of the latest documents and motions is that she did not say she was sodomized until 36 hours after the event when she, at her convenience, met with police.

Sickening spectacle. A serious college would sue this lunatic prosecutor and the city of Durham into tommorrow-morrow land and would probably be in the process of finding a nother southern town to move to.

Thanks for the ping. Out of curiosity does anyone still have the Duke roster? I know Finnerty is 6'5" and Seligmann is well over 6' and 220lbs. I don't know how big Evans is. Could it be CGM recalls not only the wealthiest players but the physical standouts as well? It is hard to forget a 6'5" baby-faced kid. I bet CGM was just picking anyone she had a slight recollection of.

And her memory conveniently got BETTER over time. Thanks for the ping and keeping us current, Perdogg.

You know what? You're 100% right.

That WOULD have happened before the PC mentality completely brainwashed otherwise decent people into actually believing it's a constitutional right to go through life without being offended.

Colleges have become too liberal to sue another liberal.

That's what I think too. It could be a combination. Someone 'helped her memory' by guiding her toward the wealthiest players.

Maybe the reason it took longer to identify David Evans is because her helpers had to research him to make sure they didn't strike out with another player who wasn't even there during the supposed main event. They found a target who had all the credentials: (a) wealthy family and (b) was there that night and (c) was automatically suspicious because he rented the house. It was a given that his DNA was going to be on SOMETHING that could be tested, and maybe someone was smart enough to figure that out.

That should be a really choice witness for the prosecution.

IMHO: I'm not sure they can even prove that a rape occurred at that location at that time.

"....a given that his DNA was going to be on SOMETHING that could be tested,..."

Evans being the one (if he was) to retrieve and offer the fingernails to the cops would almost guarantee it, over and above the fact that he lived there and used the bathroom and its wastebasket) regularly

The News isn't getting out though. It's covered basically on Hannity for 5 minute segments. It's buried otherwise.

It's Jimmy Hoffa, Natalie Holloway, and crocodile attacks for the most part.

"He looks like one of the guys who assaulted me, sort of," the accuser tells police officers in pointing out Evans, according to the motion. She then says she would be 90 percent sure of the identification if the man had a mustache, the motion said.

Good enough for the Durham prosecutor. Sheesh, what travesty.

Prediction: She starts accusing the cops, prosecutors, and/or other officials involved in her case of rape. Should be fun watching the DA backpedal like a madman.

A FReeper once said that she described Finnerty as the "skinny little one".......6'5"?

Good point. I have seen this mentioned elsewhere on the net as well. The 3 players she chose were all very distinct-looking, not only in comparison to each other, but also when compared to the other 40-or-so players in the lineup.

Skinny guy, big guy, mustache guy.......Surprised there wasn't a "top-hat guy" in there....

Where are all the advocates for those who are falsely accused and unjustly imprisoned? Their silence is deafening.
