My Dragon Fly and Me
If I could be a Dragon Fly and wing my way through the sky I would never be shy just me and my Dragon Fly!
By moonlight we ride the wind chase the comets tail for fun by day we would hide from the sun our fragile wings would come undone
On darkest nights we would use fireflies as our guide we would dip and we would glide through the heavens open wide and scatter diamonds in the night sky my Dragon Fly and me...
And we would wing past our lovers silent in the night... to kiss their face in our flight much to their surprise and delight my Dragon Fly and me in sight...
Such a view do we share away up here in the air of breezes soft through our hair my Dragon Fly and me a pair...

I have the complexion of a Finn. As a kid, I was a towhead blond and am very fair.
I sun burn easily.

Rose Gold only. I have tried yellow gold I don't like it on me.
Of course, I would not say no to Platinum.
To: bentfeather
If it's gold, I'll accept it.

And if I ever get enough gold to convert into cash, I'll be a happy camper! Maybe I'll get to do my bathroom over, too!
It hasn't been the same since the last fire.

Wild Weather In 3 Acts
Rain falls in sheets like gossamer curtains
shutting off the view across the street
as if we see the curtain in a life play
as the storm sets a mood in the indigo dusk
Thunder portends drama amid the chill winds
the stage lit by a harsh strobe engraving the scene
and we await the next act, unsure of what is to be
and we slip from the disappearing days husk
The immortal Bard readies his cast tonight
and we watch in awe as each plays their part
in this production called severe weather, a wild act
preceded by the scent of natures pre-rain musk.

Good morning everyone.

Good morning!
Well the place I'm working with asked me to stay on till almost October. So after my big departure speech, I'll still be hanging around for some time.
Haven't seen any muses passing by lately though.
I really liked your poem on Post #109. Very pensive and reflective. Had a novel (as in book) feel to it, kind of like a key point at which the plot twists.

Hi Starbase, so glad you are still with us. ;)
Thanks for the nice words regarding my poem. I also, love that you analyzed the poem, I never know about these things until I hear how it affects a reader.
The muse has been avoiding me of late, must be I did not listen to her and she is annoyed with me. LOL

My Little Diva, how are you?? *HUGS*

Good afternoon, Lady, is it that bad?? You're just a skeleton of yourself today.
I am thinking about taking up the paint brush again today. I have been inspired as to my colour choices for the bathroom. Aha, I discovered I have paint left over from the manse bedroom redo last year. Viola! I shall just reverse the order in which they were applied and all will be consistent. YAY!
What I am painting now is a simple base coat. I just need a body to cooperate with me to get the job done.
