Car that was hit had Maine license plates. The car might have been going the wrong way on the street. You need a Ph.D. to figure out downtown Pittsburgh traffic patterns.

Art Rooney II off the record saying that everyting was going to be ok, but then the reporter on Channel 11 said he was very solemn getting into the car, per Channel 11(WPXI).

LIve feed WTAE PittsburghCoverage ongoing, awaiting police presser. Just interviewed the woman who talked to him, said the car hit his bike, his head hit the windshield, he flew over the car, rolled over and over and over, hit his head again on something (couldn't understand what she was talking about, assume something on the road), then stopped, she asked him his name, he asked her where he was, what city he was in, tried to get up and she made him stay down.
Live feed is showing pics of the car - the windshield has an amazing, horrific head-sized inches deep shatter impression.

I'll guarantee this type of activity is prohibited by his contract. This is terrible, my wife lost someone very dear to her this exact same way a year or so ago.

The car might have been going the wrong way on the street. Not on that street. The interesection though(Armstrong Tunnels, 2nd Ave., and 10th street bridge) is very busy.

Very true. Even then, the Brewers management (namely, owner Bud Selig) tried to write stunts like that out of his contract.

And I didn't mean to sound like I was blaming the other guy. Ben did three increasingly stupid things: Ride a motorcycle, do it without a helmet, do it in the city.
If you must ride on a cycle, how much fun is it to ride in the tunnels and congestion of the city?

Rush just mentioned this Rush was horrible comparing this to the Zarqawi operation. The football guy must not be seriously hurt unless he damaged his passing arm.

You're right--my bad, not funny at all, but I was commenting on the temerity of some Steeler fans; I do hope Ben makes a full recovery.
