My family and I went to opening day of the San Diego County Fair a few days ago. Right after entering the fair gates, we were shocked and disgusted to see the MEXICAN FLAG flying proudly overhead, sharing space with the California Flag and the US flag. Here's a snapshot I took:

I literally just stopped in my tracks and couldn't believe what I was seeing. What's next, the Mexican flag flying over Fourth of July celebrations???
Maybe the Mexican President was in attendance? /facetiousness
Are flaming arrows considered a lethal weapon?
You signed up today to share this with us?
What were your previous incarnations on FR?
As an east coast guy, that doesn't surprise me.
Shouldn't it be the US in the middle position, the place of honor?
I believe the whole situation for the flags is incorrect. The US Flag should be on the tallest pole, with any other flag of state, nation, or Kiwanis Club at a level below the red, white and blue.
So, how did you find this sight and what made you decide to sign up and post this article?
The US flag was in the middle, and it was a bit higher than the others. You can't tell that from the perspective, though.
The fact that aggravated me was that the Mexican flag was there at all.

San Diego city flag:
Well, my first two thoughts have been shot down.
Big surprise-not!
Our leadership, in its haste to abolish the USA in favor of a merged state with Mexico, has neglected to come out with the new "Amerexico" flag in time, so you'll have to just bear with the two flags for a little longer.
looks like they replaced the San Diego flag with the Mexican ...
*sniff, sniff*
I detect the odor of a LibertyPost troll.
its the SD county flag
I stand corrected
Avoidance of the county fair would be my reaction. Those involved in the fair have voices and that flag would come down in a heartbeat if attendees protested every way possible and those commandeering booths at the fair demanded it and walked out on the organizers....
If I were you, I would make sure you aren't touching any metal objects right now...
...and welcome to FR.
I think it is indeed the flag of Mexico.
Just another sign of reconquista.
I've been a life-long conservative but never bothered to really get involved. Seeing this really pushed me over the edge, though, and I decided to sign up.
I understand that you have had your share of creeps and DU-infiltrators, though... completely understandable. Is there a better place I should have posted this? :-)
They're usually one in the same.
The picture looks like the product of a Photoshop nooblet.
Is this a first? I really cannot recall.
Should he have provided a Spanish translation for you?
Nah. At the Fort Worth Rodeo, the flag of Mexico is flown alongside the flags of Spain, France, the Confederacy, Texas, and the United States. Every year, for the past 30.
No big deal.
It does get tiresome does it not. Just another attempt to start an internet rumor so this photo is spread all over the internet. I suppose that Six Flags over Texas will be under indictment next
The picture is clearly a fake but why let facts get in the way of a good rant?
If you are for U.S. values, welcome aboard.
Check my date. I was a long time looker, but didn't think FR had the bandwidth for me to bother posting.
Then, prior to the election, things got hectic and seemed to take off.
Here I am. Or as Martin Luther said, "Hier stand ich, ich kann nicht anders!" - meaning (for me) my positions do not change from what Goldwater/Reagan posited so long ago.
The fair opened on the 10th and will run thru the 4th of July.
The photo looks genuine to me, but what do I know...lol?
Welcome to Free Republic!
Look closely at the suspect flag. Look @ the discoloration of the sky around it. That same discoloration doesn't appear around the other two flags.
That says to me the flag in question comes from a different image. Trust me, it isn't hard to do but it is hard to do well and this troll didn't do a very good job.
Also this flag appears to have blue in it. Lord knows we have seen a million mexican flags on here but I dont recall any having a huge panel of blue in it
I was just about to point out the same thing.
I watched this forum for some time before I decided to join and it took a LONG time for me to post anything.
Anyone who peruses this site will see what happens to trolls. Because he is 'aware' of what happens here is certainly no idication of ill-will. Most of the times the trolls post something we all recognize for what it is. At least he has had the courtesy of responding and putting forth his reasoning.
Lighten up, Francis!

Obviously I could have photoshopped a Mexican flag into the picture but don't you think I would have picked one where the logo is a bit more prominent if I did so?
Also to the person who is surprised I know about terminology here, I have been a lurker for a while, but as I said before, this just aggravated me enough to post. Maybe I shouldn't have though :-(
In any case, kind thanks to the welcomers. I'll endeavor not to make any newbie-mistakes in the future :)
No surprise----at their infamous street rallies, the invaders signage, and shouts, indicated they are planning to takeover the US with the vote (illegal or not) and with violence, if necessary.
I'm not surprised and I won't be if we have a Mexican flag flying here in Washington state at the Puyallup Fair this September. They just started adding Mexican rodeos to the fair line up last year.
I've attended this fair every year of my life until the last 2 years and I cdo not recognize ANY of the buildings and I cannot recall exactly where the flag poles are located, if there's any at all.
Indeed... this is how it starts. Anger turns into numbness, which turns into apathy... *sigh*
Well, it isn't a Mexican flag. It is obviously something else.
It's located right by the Durante Gate, facing towards the infield. Near the "Swifty Swine Pig Races". The building you see in the background is the "Dickies Animal Fair" building.
OK. Now, tell me, which day did you attend and what was the price of admission?
I am checking letters to the editor because this would surely infuriate a whole lot of pwople.
Could be true, San Diego has a history of putting up with flying the Mexican flag at public events, like Padres major league baseball at Qualcomm Stadium:
See http://www.villagevoice.com/news/9915,dunleavy,4952,3.html
"To help Mexican fans overcome the low peso-to-dollar exchange rate and border-crossing delays, the team set up a program called Domingos Padres Tecate, which translates into "Cool Sundays With Tecate"; Tecate is a Mexican brand of beer and the program's sponsor. Under the program, fans that purchase tickets at the team's store in Tijuana receive bus transportation to and from the game every Sunday for the equivalent of $11. The Padres have also played several of their regular-season games in Monterrey, Mexico, including their home opener this year, and the Mexican flag flies at all home games at Qualcomm Stadium."
It's a Flag display. The American Flag is higher than all the other flags. They will be displaying the flags of several countries during the fair.
Heard this on Roger Hedgecock's show.
Opening day, the 10th. Admission was $11. Parking is $8. (Unfortunately I wasn't aware that Ralphs was running a $1 admission special...)
I had my first deep-fried Oreo cookies there, if it helps. (And I had a stomach ache for hours afterwards. But it was worth it.)
