4. Do you have a funny, gross, scary, or otherwise entertaining internet dating story to share? Either one that happened to you, or someone you know. - Too many - I'll share throughout the thread.
5. Any funny or interesting “meeting the parents” stories? - Most meet the parents have gone fairly well. I have one story, but that's because the woman was a psycho.
6. Has meeting the parents ever caused a breakup? - sort of. Again, psycho lady!
7. And, finally, have you ever set up a “backup” scenario to get out of a potentially bad date? - Absolutely! Every first date I've ever been on!

I use the floor swifter thingy. Seems to do the job pretty well most of the time.

I used to be a summer person...when I had central A/C. Now I’m a winter person. I love freezing my a$$ off.

I live two floors up (might as well be in an attic) with a portable A/C contraption on wheels I like to call R2D2.

R2D2 is working at FULL SPEED at the moment.

Well, I consider myself to be decent. I think of myself as somewhat intelligent, also. And I do NOT subscribe to the old"a side dish is ok once in awhile", mentality. I am not in my 40's, (yet.) I am in my 30's(late) now.

But I am not what is considered "a good catch" to most. Nowdays, I find myself not really caring anymore. Aside from still being considered a nerd, outcast, fanatic and such,(even on here sometimes) my life has improved a lot lately, especially where my finances are concerned. I give god all of the credit. he LITERALLY sent me 2 good -paying jobs, low pressure(most of the time, anyway) and I am making more than ever before. Of course, I give him his share and then some. As I have stated before, you CANNOT outgive the Lord!!

As for the rest-- he can take care of that, when he sees fit. He sent me 2 jobs that I could have NEVER found myself. He can certainly send someone to me, if he feels the time is right. till then- I ain't that worried!!


As I say-- better to suffer in silence alone, than to be humiliated in public!!
